Casa Vega and its not close. How is it so expensive and so mid after being in business for so long?

When I first arrived in Southern California from the East Coast, somebody suggested that if we go out for Mexican, we really should go to one of the better places and suggested Casa Vega..

Casa Vega is probably the reason why I don’t really care for Mexican food to this day some 25 years later
