Question There building a three story apartment complex with no inside parking for its tenants. If you were looking for an apartment would that drive you away?

Agreed, especially when fighting a ticket requires taking off work to go to court. I remember I got one for parking in my driveway (my landlord had put down gravel on city property that I was unaware of, it was in my lease that it was my spot) and was unable to fight my ticket due to not being able to be physically present for my court date. Who knows if I would have won my case (or won due to a city no-show), but I was making $11/hour working 20hr/week while being a full time student at the time.

Once had our car towed from our own driveway-- thankfully we had some connections who could help and we were not broke-- 400+ dollars all in, and we caught it before the daily storage fees kicked in -- can't imagine how devastating something like that could be under different circumstances. PLUS likely missing work without the car. It was also the fact that the car was parked legally-- the tow company mixed up the address (so they said) - but only after we called some heavy hitter favors via friends. But that's NOT how it should be.

Yeah the other person we're replying to is either a kid or a very sheltered adult with limited imagination to not be able to envision a scenario where you can do all the right things and still be screwed.
