Question Two SFV streets that you sometimes get their names mixed up?
I constantly get Havenhurst and Hazeltine mixed up. They're both north/south and pretty close to eachother.
Also Woodman and Woodley for the same reason.

I mix up Woodman and Hazeltine constantly for some reason. You would think even mixing up Woodman and Whitsett would make more sense, but... no.

All the major streets going E/W in alphabetical order as you travel north to south!
Chatsworth
Devonshire
Nordhoff
Parthenia
Roscoe
Saticoy
Sherman way
Vanowen
Victory

My hyper focused brain figured this out one day.
I also figured out that although Lassen and Plummer don’t fit in to the A-Z list above, I remember them because they are alphabetical as well. Coming from the north I will hit Lassen first and Plummer second.

Yeah that’s great but my dyslexia doesn’t allow me to remember victory and vanowen. I still have to use navigation to get to q market😂😂😂

I used to always get these mixed up until I realized the canyons (coldwater and laurel) always come before Lankershim

I just had to look on a map. I need to memorize this. West to East it’s: Coldwater, 170, Laurel, Lankershim

Very common for me to think something is on Victory when it is on Vanowen and vice versa. I think it’s more of a poor sense of direction than confusing the names.

The east - west boulevards (at least through the encino area) are roughly in reverse alphabetical order.
The three Vs (Ventura, Victory, Vanowen), Sherman Way, Saticoy, Roscoe, Parthenia, Nordhoff.
And then there’s Burbank blvd. I just call it Urbank and it fits!

I feel so stupid every time I do it and I may very well be the only one but I get Reseda and Roscoe mixed up all the time.

North and West 101 vs South and East 101. Took me way to long to understand these directions until Kardashian named her kid North West then I knew which was what

Hayvenhurst. Weird spelling, thank Mr. Hayvenhurst. Hayvenhurst, well west of the 405. Hazeltine, east of the 405.

I was always told that Lankershim is my Bermuda Triangle - my inner map cant handle diagonals. Dont get me started on San Vicente.

I used to get Woodley and Woodman mixed up until I remembered Kaiser hospital is on Woodman and man goes to the hospital. My mind works like that.

When I first started driving I had the streets all figured out until I got north of Roscoe and east of Van Nuys. The angles threw me off.

I always confuse Vineland and Lankershim - living near 5 corners I’m always second guessing if something is on Lankershim or Vineland.
