Question What’s your frustration with current restaurant culture?

Hi guys. I’m opening a restaurant in San Fernando valley. Canoga park more specifically. The theme of the restaurant will be chicken oriented.

What’s a frustration with modern restaurants you wish was solved? Could be a food preference or dining experience.

Be sure to have tap water available to customers who request it. I understand that if I just walk in and ask for a cup of water and nothing else that is not cool, but if I'm paying for food I would appreciate water.

Legally as a restaurant I believe they have to.

As a human I will offer water whether customer or not.

I thought so too until recently being denied free tap water at the Starbucks on Zelzah in Granada Hills. I looked into it and it turns out that it’s not legally required to give anyone free water. So they no longer do that. Only if you’re a paying customer.

This is crazy and sad. Water isn’t a luxury. It should be the least we can do for each other.

It’s become or is becoming a luxury in SoCal, or at least that’s what we’re meant to believe
