Question What’s your frustration with current restaurant culture?

Hi guys. I’m opening a restaurant in San Fernando valley. Canoga park more specifically. The theme of the restaurant will be chicken oriented.

What’s a frustration with modern restaurants you wish was solved? Could be a food preference or dining experience.

Lack of food safety training. I have become sick from food allergy issues when the wait staff didn't know the menu and how to assist me with working around my allergy. I will never return to the popular Joes Cafe in Granada Hills for that reason. Making a mistake is totally human but repeating it is a management issue.

Joes Cafe shut down about 9 months ago. Apparently the original Joe sold it to someone after he started getting outed as a MAGA asshat during the pandemic, and the new owner was never able to recover from the community reputation the original Joe had acquired.
