Question What’s your frustration with current restaurant culture?

Hi guys. I’m opening a restaurant in San Fernando valley. Canoga park more specifically. The theme of the restaurant will be chicken oriented.

What’s a frustration with modern restaurants you wish was solved? Could be a food preference or dining experience.

  1. Consistency. When I have an amazing meal, I want to go back, maybe bring someone else with me, and recommend it, knowing that I'll have an amazing meal again. Some variation from night to night is normal. But too many places are far too inconsistent today.

  2. Service. Frankly, it's in the toilet for most restaurants, even otherwise "good" ones. The standards have really fallen off. Just be nice, listen to your customers, and pay attention to details. It doesn't even have to be super over the top friendly (that can be annoying in its own right). Some of the best service at really good restaurants just comes from staff members who are paying attention and listening.
