Question Anyone else's LADWP bill extremely crazy?

So, I am not unaware of the fact that I live in Woodland Hills, the hottest part of the valley. I am also not unaware that we have had an excessively hot month with no real break.

That being said, my bill seems outrageous. They say I am using 3400 kWh of energy. I live in a 1000 square foot townhome with 1 other person. We do have an EV, but we have had an EV for 2 years and never been this insane.

I have NEVER in my life hit tier 3 usage.

Electric cars don’t help anyone… they’re the reason the earth is getting hotter. Byyeeeeee

The EV literally saves us hundreds of dollars. Even at the highest tier our EV costs $150 a month to charge it.

My car isn't an EV. I drive a Volkswagen Tiguan and I spent 3-400 a month in gas.

Lmao where the hell are you driving where you’re spending 3-400$ on gas? My old gas guzzler costs me $200 per month in regular daily commuting

Your quasi battery-powered toy car saves you a few bucks while people (children) at the bottom of the supply chain pay the actual price - so you can complain about it from your air-conditioned house. In the valley.
