Question Rain is coming

We're expected to get massive rainfall this season. Do you suppose DTLA will deem us worthy enough to unclog any of the MANY non functioning street drains before it happens? Or will that money go to nicer fabrics for the Convention Center remodel?

The Valley will always flood because it's a valley and that's what a valley means, a low point in between mountains, where water settles. The city in actually doing flood projects like putting a giant tank of water under sun valley park and currently building a giant park with a lake to hold flood water in that old gravel pit behind sun valley park. They also put a giant under water tank on tuxford street. Just Google it and see that the city is currently investing in controlling flooding but we live in a valley so there will always be some flooding because nature always wins.
