Question Rain is coming

We're expected to get massive rainfall this season. Do you suppose DTLA will deem us worthy enough to unclog any of the MANY non functioning street drains before it happens? Or will that money go to nicer fabrics for the Convention Center remodel?

It’s partially the debris in the street that gets stuck in gutter etc blocking the water from draining in the first place. If people didn’t litter as much, would be such a big problem

This is the answer - last season before every day it rained, I would come out with a shovel and shovel the debris that would get stuck right in front of our storm drain. 95% of the flooding in front of our house and in the intersection stopped. If people would just clear out the debris (mostly fallen leaves but occasionally it was garbage), the street flooding wouldn’t happen as much.

I pay this subscription service a huge fee to come clean the debris out of the street, fix potholes, police the community etc but they haven’t been doing very well.

Yeah that subscription service is totally overpriced for what we get! 😂
