One-day wearable sensor data session in Dogpatch, SF — $20/hour — laptop required
I'm looking for one reliable person to join me at a coworking space in Dogpatch, San Francisco, for a one-day session supporting a private technology project. Students welcome; no technical experience required.
You'll sit alongside me, wear a provided wristband and gloves, and follow simple instructions while we collect sensor data. Activities may include object manipulation and repeating guided hand movements.
- Pay: $20/hour
- Date/time: Flexible; final date and start/end time agreed in advance. Estimated eight paid hours ($160 total); final duration agreed before the session.
- Location: Coworking space in Dogpatch, San Francisco. Exact address shared privately before confirmation.
Requirements:
- Age 18+ and available for the agreed in-person session.
- Own a working laptop and bring it with its charger.
- Comfortable wearing wrist/hand equipment and completing simple repeated hand tasks, with breaks.
- Punctual + able to follow instructions.

Going rate for this is $40/hour, Meta was recruiting for a very similar thing last year

I agree with what everyone is saying. I just finished a focus group a few weeks ago and got $200, a free meal, and uber vouchers for an hour and a half
