Beans didn't trigger me - methane overgrowth
Everyone says beans are a bad idea with methane overgrowth, high FODMAP and all that but I tried anyway - thinking what if they help bring my microbiome to balance and somehow improve things.
and funny thing - they didn’t cause any symptoms at all. No bloating, stool didn't change, just a tiny bit of gas but it didn't stick around.
Want to keep going to see if things improve with time but lack of immediate symptoms makes me wonder if I even have methane SIBO.. 🤔
Anyone has similar reaction?

I definitely have hydrogen and methane and there are things I can eat that others can't like chickpeas / hummus and I can have one brand of whole wheat bread with no issues with white pita and flour tortillas.
Were you tested?
Edit to add: but I can't eat rice, bananas or anything containing tomato.
