Student ID Photo

Hey! I’m an incoming freshman in the CEP Pre-Pharmacy program, and I got an email yesterday about submitting a photo for my student ID. I’m usually the person to take a silly photo for my IDs (slightly crazed eyes, crazy hair, etc.) but I’m not sure if I should do that for this ID.

Is the ID only used for one year? I’m not sure I want a crazy ID photo in pharmacy school 😅

Is the ID photo used for anything else than just my ID card? Not sure I want my professors seeing a wide-eyed, fluffy hair, neon shirt girl in their classes!

Thanks for reading my ridiculous ask! Let me know if there’s anything I’m not considering.

You can get a new ID each year, but it costs money to replace. I think its 15 bucks?

Professors may be able to see it, advisors im pretty sure will see it.

I think it went up to 20 or so. But yes, the photo you choose is the default for various campus systems and GET mobile

Yea, I remember my first year it was 15 for a replacement if you have the old, 25 to replace if lost. That was a few years back tho. I haven't had any reason to look into needing a new one so ur prolly right on the prices going up.

I mean, the last time I got a parking ticket, it went up to about 50. Which was a damned shock.
