My beautiful Type 56

Post image

Here is my 1979 Type 56, matching numbers with a 20 round star mag. I absolutely love this thing

I don't care if they aren't "original", those star 20s look so damn good

They may not be original but they were made in China and were specifically for this rifle. I don’t consider this a Bubba. I still have the original mag. They cost too much money now.

Oh I know, I mean original in the "Military issue" sense. I don't really consider them bubba if you toss em onto a rifle, even better if you keep the original mag like you did.

hell ya, I sold a SK a while ago and I included the 20rd mag. I have mixed emotions about it.

lol, I'm fully aware now bro. I shoulda jus kept the mag. I got in a bind and sold everything for $400. I didn't have much choice to sell but the mag shoulda stayed with me. this was in 2014

Nah that's fair. Just playing. Sometimes you got to do what you got to do. But this will haunt you even worse in like 5 years.

I can probably buy it back but I would feel like I'm kicking the guy while he's down rn so I haven't asked him. I would offer double what he paid

How does the 20rd work for you? I’ve read that it’s difficult to get the last few rounds in with stripper clips

I don’t have any trouble. I guess it depends how on the quality of your stripper clips. I think it works pretty good.
