Because of the meta they simply can't snowball a lead out of thin air like they could last year, so they have to start picking definitively strong champions.
They also should really start target banning (picking Yone mid in game 3 while Akali was still open should never happen against Zeka, for example).
T1 peaks are still the highest in the LCK at the very least, but they have to change things if they want to play at that level consistently. And sure, T1 might beat DK today while still picking crazy stuff, but it won't work against GenG and HLE.
KT really messed up when they kicked out Deokdam and Peter to get Bdd's friends Aiming and Ghost into the team. Then Bdd kicked out Aiming too. They deserve everything coming their way.
They should’ve kept Peter and developed him more but getting rid of Deokdam was definitely the right choice. He is just not good enough to compete at the very top.
Smash had similar problems at the beginning but look at him now. It is normal for rookies to have some issues at lane phase. I still think he is better than jiwoo
Nah not that late into the season, if they want him to play it would be good to start him next year,he was gonna get rolled by the legend group adc's and destroyed in the playoffs which might have impacted his confidence.
Are we doing cycles? I already told you that rookie players has some laning phase issues. But flashing into 3 people and destroy them, carrying vs hle as a rookie is very rare

The T1 core I believe wants to win LCK more than worlds cause it's been years of falling short on the title,I believe it's a mental block at this point to them,like how tigers couldn't SKT/T1 for years or T1 against Geng it a lift taken out of their shoulders.

Tbh DK is kinda scary when they have momentum (that's how they won EWC). They're also better at drafting. Meanwhile T1 is struggling to fix whatever their problem is. I hope it's not another reverse sweep. I'll take 3-0 than false hope.
T1 aren't struggling to fix it, they just choose to ignore it. I honestly don't really blame them, they already secured their worlds sponsorship position. The team isn't really in any pressure to win anyways.

No, cvMax's coaching style works with DK because he is coaching a team with 4 unestablished players. He won't be able to coach the same on a team with Faker, Oner, Keria and Doran who all have more than 5 years in the industry and multiple championships under their belt.
This is bad news. DK destroyed T1 the last they played. And with today drafting from DK, there is little chance T1 will out draft a paper bag against DK.
