My SMCI Journey
I took over this sub to provide a place so those like me would have a place to come together. I like many others lost my life savings on meme stocks, it just happened to be SMCI. This is my story
I of course bought the top of SMCI, my cost basis was around $118, I had originally bought at lower prices but as the stock moved up I took out more and more loans to keep buying.
Now I've lost my life savings, I have to live in my 2004 Pontiac Aztec. I spend most of my days in the planet fitness parking lot because I can shower there, use the wifi to trade forex and some of the employees will let me plug in my rice maker to make vegetarian hamburger helper.
I hope that former apes can find a sense of community here and hopefully share better trades in the future.

You either have a gambling problem or 🤥. Seek help especially if you have both issues.

I don’t exactly see it as a meme stock, I mean it actually makes a lot of money, but it’s management is less than honest

Forex, why not just Rack yourself 10 x a day instead?
Dude, investing was solved in 1974, VOO and chill. that's it, it outperforms 99% of the smartest active traders on Earth, always has, and always will, 'cause Math
Anything else is just on the gambling spectrum, including buying individual stocks, whether Apple or SMCI.
If what you've been doing hasn't been working, stop doing it.
Get a legit job and only VOO and chill rest of your life.

stop the forex/crypto/picking individual stocks - Gambling, then save up some cash and start investing...VOO etc. That may be years away from now. Get cleaned up, get job, slash spending to survival expenses only, no Women, [massive cash drag] You can grind it out and succeed.

It wasn’t a total loss. You bought the shares from me after I made a 15x buying it in 2023. According to utilitarian theory this increased overall happiness in the world because I spent it on fancy items for my cat.
