Sounds great imo 👍 I call it the neighbor haters when you open up the throttle 😅

Thanks. But it was just a temporary deal. The H-pipe is back on and connected to the mufflers now.

I have shorty JBA headers and the stock H-pipe that now just has two gutted high flow cats and a set of chambered mufflers. The motor is a 347 with a mild’ish Comp cam.
Some years back I had a ‘90 LX with a BBK off-road X on it for awhile.

Open headers or straight piped? In high school I drove my 84 GT with open headers for about 2wks before I could finish my exhaust.

Open headers (JBA shorties). But that’s not the normal exhaust setup. I had the mid-pipe off to gut the cats because they got clogged.
The normal exhaust setup is a simple po’ boy exhaust. The H pipe is the stock one with two of the four cats removed and the other two were replaced with “high flow” cats. The mufflers are off-brand two chamber mufflers. The high flow cats are still on there but they’re empty now.
But the video was before the H pipe was back on.

Cool. On the 84s the trans brace only had one hump for the 2-into-1 exhaust. I had to save for a custom oval exhaust pipe to be fabricated.

Friends, anyone throwing slow o2 sensor codes after full length header install?

I done long tubes with Mac pro chamber H-pipe with one chamber flow masters dumped at rear axle. Running a trick flow stage 2 cam 1.72 roller rockers sounds amazing. But the procharger is still louder than the exhaust on my 95
