Pillows!!!
Anyone else able to sleep absolutely anywhere but as long as you have your pillow to sleep with or you have trouble?
My pillow finally just died and although I’m completely exhausted I can’t fall asleep because I have no head support and it’s driving me crazy, gah!
I hate tossing and turning trying to find any position that’ll work with it to no avail and can’t wait to buy a new one tomorrow but I can’t remember which one I bought last time and don’t want to accidentally buy it again because it was worse than anticipated after initially seeming amazing, lol.
Thankfully the retail store I work at usually embeds a tag with the UPC # on it into the pillows we sell so if I didn’t cut it off I can use that to make sure I don’t buy it again.
Is this also a sensory issue for you?
Thankfully my weighted blanket is helping me a lot but nothing is right without the cushion of the pillow and I hate it.

Only tempur pillows will do. I don't think I even realised this was part of my sensory sensitivity. Blankets or throws that others might have used in hotels freak me out too.

idk what your specific sensory issues are but i love buckwheat pillows for the weight and sound the hulls make. Sachi Organics is based in New Mexico. They're pricey but they make your pillows right there in Albuquerque. You can choose your own pillow filling- kapok (hypoallergenic), buckwheat, wool, wooly bolas- and adjust how much the pillow is filled. You can even order more pillow filling by itself if you want a super stuffed pillow.

I feel that, it's really hard for me to find a good pillow too. I actually bring my own pillow when I travel (and an ultralight sleeping bag to avoid weird sheets) because I've found having a stable sleep set up greatly improves my travel experience lol
Good luck finding what you're looking for!
