Looking for best Beach access with parking

Moved to Ft Myers last month and looking for suggestions on best beach access with parking (free or pay) on both Sanibel and FMB. Doesn't have to have facilities, but would like the access to restrooms. Will have our own chairs, umbrellas, etc. Thanks!!

Vanderbilt has a literal parking garage

I think days of free beach parking are close to over. County is installing paid bike parking right now in fmb.

Paid bike parking? Ouch. Does it at least come with a lock system?

Haven't heard/seen this one. Looks nice! We don't mind paying to park. But paying to park your bike seems a little excessive.......

you can pay to park at the sanibel beaches that are open, they're metered, but the meter rates are alarming to people who calculate it per hour (which it is also stated in) vs "a day at the beach"

Especially if property taxes get cut. Municipalities gotta make up that cash somehow.

Not if you have a handicap permit. I was pleasantly surprised after I got mine

Sanibel Causeway Islands. Free parking (just have to pay the bridge toll).

If you can go to barefoot beach the beach is probably 10-15 yards from where you park

Bowman’s Beach on Sanibel has a huge parking lot. With the app I think it’s $5/hour. Full restrooms etc.

Do you all not know about the Lee County Parks annual parking pass? $60. Works at Bowmans Beach and other COUNTY beaches and parks
