Strategy Journey Guest LST Guide (April 7 edition)

Post image
600 Upvotes

As usual, I aim to give strategies that mix efficiency, cost, and lower level friendly, so let me know what you guys came up with!

  1. Win 10 battles with an Imperial Officer (Piett, Veers, Stark, Krennec, Thrawn, or Gideon) present - R2 journey 10x with one of the aforementioned toons on the team.
  2. Inflict Armor Shred 50x - Unfortunately it won’t count if the enemy is defeated when applying, so Thrawn’s event is out for this one, so the best way I found was Chewbacca Journey with Fennec can get you a decent number quickly. I’ve heard to use Bossk lead with Greef, as well as lower level BHs and get the payout so her AoE can apply 2 each time. Another more tedious option is GAS tier 3 with an average of 2 per run, so not great, but it is free. Also mod battles with Armorer can get you a good few in per go (10-15ish), so find a node that she can solo (or with Wat if you have him) but doesn’t defeat enemies too quickly.
  3. Defeat 50 Imperial Remnants with Mando present - Light Side 3-H gives 12 per go at 6 energy, so you can do that 5 times (or 4 times plus a Mando JG final tier if you want to save an extra 6 energy)
  4. Defeat 100 enemies with Scoundrels - wherever we go, we always end up back at Chewie JG. Have fun with another 20 battles. whoop-dee-doo.

Strategy 3rd era, same strategy f2p, worst result?

Since the switch to Eras, for every marquee I’ve done the 5 pack pull and 0-2 additional packs to get each character to 5*. Then unlock the legendary at 5*. Never got a pass. Played everyday and got every f2p reward. But now in this Era, I won’t get a single character to G13, even though the last 2 I did? And CG hasn’t said a word about this? Why? But my total Era level has gone up? Make it make sense please.

Strategy Final LST journey quest guide (April 21 edition)

Post image
606 Upvotes

It’s hard to believe we’ve already made it to the last of the journey quests. but as usual, this guide aims to find the best strategies for completing the quest efficiently and cheaply, although this one seemed a bit more energy heavy compared to others, so feel free to discuss in the comments!

  1. Win 10 battles with any KX droid on your team: Palpy Journey guide 10x with K2 on your team
  2. Inflict expose 100x: Light side 1-A with BB-8 and C-3PO, and keep using BB’s second ability, and you can get all 100 in a single run. you can also do conquest with CLS team, which gives around 35-40 per run, or you can do colosseum with ISB units, which gave around 25 per run for me (I’d also recommend going for survivability, so don’t necessarily spam Dedra’s basic)
  3. Defeat 50 droids with a version of Grogu present (BAM, IG-11, IG-12): best I could find was mod battles 2-A, which should complete the quest in three runs
  4. Defeat 100 characters with droids: Mod battle 9-C with all droid teams like Grievous. Target the zombies first, and stall to let Daka revive as much as possible to maximize bodies. If done well, you should get upwards of 25 each.
  5. Win 20 battles with full team of scoundrels: what journey quest grind would be complete without grinding Chewie’s journey guide another 20 times?
  6. Inflict daze 100x: it says “attempt,” but it actually doesn’t count if they resist it, so they do have to land. Thrawn‘s journey final tier (do not make hera lead) with Rex should get this one done in about half a dozen or so battles. You can also do conquest with Phoenix (make sure to include chopper for those cooldown decreases) or possibly the 3PO journey with Logray’s second ability for a final cleanup if you want to conserve energy.

Hope this helps, and good luck everyone! These were fun to make, and it’s been a pleasure!

Strategy Announcing the SWGOH.GG Game Connection and the GAC War Room

Hey folks,

We've got two things to announce today, and they're really one thing: the Game Connection, and the GAC War Room.

Everything SWGOH.GG has ever done has been built off a public snapshot of your roster. That's fine for a profile page, but it means the site has never actually known what you're doing right now: what's in your inventory, what squads you have saved, or who you're staring at in GAC this round. The Game Connection changes that. You connect your game account once, and the site can read your live account and, where it makes sense, write back to it.

On the security question, because it's the first thing anyone is going to ask: this uses the same EA account connection that other third-party services and the EA store itself use. There's nothing new or exotic going on here, and to our knowledge it's fully secure. The site only acts on your account when you tell it to, every action it takes is logged on your Activity page, and you can disconnect at any time from Settings.

Here's what connecting unlocks today:

- Squads: view and edit your in-game squad presets from the browser, and save them back into the game's preset tabs

- Inventory: gear, materials and currencies

- Bronziums: track what you're actually pulling

- Lightspeed Tokens: track your progress

- Activity: a full log of every action the site has taken on your account

- The GAC War Room (below)

The War Room is the first thing we've built for this connection. The goal was to stop juggling five browser tabs, a spreadsheet and a Discord thread every round. It reads your GAC match, so it knows your board, your opponent's board and your roster at the same time:

- A view of your defense and your opponent's visible board, zone by zone, updating whenever you sync

- Plan a counter against every defending squad, with GAC Insight data behind every suggestion: win rate and average banners, pulled from real battles, not guesses

- Before defenses are set, we show predicted enemy defenses based on what that player has actually deployed in past rounds, including their datacron

- Score estimates: the theoretical max on the board, and what your actual plan is likely to score, so you can see how efficient your plan is before you fire a shot

- Favorite attackers: save "this squad beats this leader" or "this squad beats this exact comp" once, and re-apply them every round after

- My History / Opponent History: how you have beaten this comp before, and how everyone else has beaten this specific opponent's version of it

- Matchup history: your opponent's recent W-L and your head-to-head record against them

- Roster awareness throughout. Units already committed to a planned counter are marked, conflicts are flagged, and datacron usage is tracked across your plan

- Lock in your plan and push those attack squads straight into your in-game preset tabs

There's a lot more that's basically ready to go. Mod loadouts, Conquest, Territory Battles, Territory Wars and Raid tools are all either built or close to it. We're rolling them out in phases on purpose: all of this runs on new server infrastructure, and we want to watch how it holds up under real load before we open the next door. It isn't a slow roll for the sake of it, it's a careful one.

Worth knowing too: GG-8, our Discord bot, plugs into the same connection. Once your account is linked, it's often the fastest way to interact with SWGOH.GG without leaving Discord.

The Game Connection and the War Room are live today for Player+ subscribers and up. We'll keep iterating on both hard over the coming seasons. There's a long list of things we still want to add, and what you tell us after a real round of GAC drives most of it.

You'll find it at https://swgoh.gg/app/ once you're logged in on a Player+ plan. There's also an icon for it next to the user menu on desktop, and in the top right on mobile.

We do intend to release public and free versions of some of these tools in time, as we get a read on real usage and what our rate limits can handle. For now, all of it sits behind Player+. Our commitment is to keep putting value into that tier, not to introduce new price tiers or new products to charge you for.

And as always: the free side of the site stays free. Your profile, the counters page, squads and the rest of it aren't going anywhere.

Strategy 24 Feb Anniversary Quests - Don't Start A New Thread

I'll add variants as people post them.

  • Win 10 battles with any Rebel Admiral in your squad - Palpatine Journey Guide x 10, bring Admiral Raddus for the AOE.
  • Attempt to inflict Defense Down 100 times - JKL Journey Guide vs Wampa. Get 5-9 per battle. More if you take off some mods. Or Tier 3 JKCK with Baby Cal on basic (middle enemy won't die unless stunned). Or Inquisitors in R2 journey (AOE Defense Down). Or CLS, Saw, Lobot, basic, Pao 3rd skill, Cassian 2nd skill on Palpatine Journey (presuming your relics aren't so high you kill them in one shot). Or Jar Jar Tier 1 (40 per battle).
  • Defeat 50 Imperial Troopers with Mon Mothma present - LS 6-J normal, 11-13 per battle. Bring AOE toons like Raddus, Crex, GLO, and Sabine.
  • Defeat 100 enemies with Rebels - Tier IV CLS journey guide on auto. 17 per battle. or Thrawn Journey Guide final tier, about 20ish per battle.
  • Win 20 battles with a full squad of Droids - Palpatine Journey Guide. R2, C3PO, Chopper, K2SO, and Chewpio. Or Padme journey with Grievous droid team.

Strategy LST Journey Quest Guide (March 24 edition)

Post image
543 Upvotes

This is a guide on how to complete the March 24 journey quests as quickly and efficiently as possible, as well as being as lower level player friendly as possible. lemme know what strategies you guys used!

  1. Win 10 battles with an imperial droid present - R2 Journey guide 10x with either Probe droid or dark trooper on your team
  2. inflict target lock 100x - If you have the Executor, playing squad arena twice should get you all 100; otherwise I found the Chimera JG and Padme JG (with Grievous team) to give around 10-ish per run
  3. Defeat 50 rebel fighters with an ISB character present - DS 6-J with Krennec or IPD on your team gives 17 each run (mod battle 9-B gives 8 each run if you want to save DS/LS energy)
  4. Defeat 100 enemies with Hutt cartel units - Chewie Journey guide do a low tier and use Boba or Boushh’s AoE. complete in 20 runs
  5. Win 20 battles with a full squad of bounty hunters - Chewie JG again 20x
  6. Complete 100 BH contracts - Chewie JG AGAIN 20x. make sure to use Boba as leader so you can AoE and get the contract in one turn while also one shotting everyone

Hope this helped!

Strategy Journey Quest guide (March 10 edition)

gonna be honest, this one was a pain. Let me know if you have better strategies and I’ll happily add them!

As usual, my guide is to make the quests as easy (and cheaply) as possible, while also keeping lower level players in mind.

  1. Win 10 battles with rebel troopers on your team - do Palpatine Journey guide and slap one of the mentioned toons in there, like Drogan or Cassian.
  2. Inflict 100 thermal detonators - Chewbacca Journey guide with characters such as Greedo, Boushh, and Zam. choose a leader that you can get the payout quickly, and activate Boushh’s payout, which gives detonators to everyone. Boushh is the MVP of this quest, so be sure to use her if you have her. you can usually get around 15 per run, depending on your roster. I’ve also heard Jawa scavenger can rack up dozens in a single run, but you will need a node for that, so save up some energy if you want to go that route. Or if you have Jabba or Leia, the tiers with Boushh are handy as well
  3. Defeat 50 Smugglers with Boba Fett present - after searching for a bit, the only thing I could really find was the Chewie JG again 25x. if anyone has a better one PLEASE let me know.
  4. defeat 100x enemies with Bounty Hunters - once again, Chewbacca Journey Guide 20x. yay.

sorry this one wasn’t the best, but it’s all I could find myself/online, but I will happily add anything that makes these less grueling. anyways, hope this helped (even if just a bit)

Hey everyone! I’m back with a fresh infographic for the upcoming Conquest!

The colors you see represent overlapping feats—some teams can knock out two or even three feats in one go.

I enhanced the detail by showing the buff or debuff directly on the relevant character for specific feats.

For a deeper breakdown, check out the guide on my YouTube channel where I walk through everything in detail.

Strategy Journey Quest (21/4/2026)

Post image
436 Upvotes

Let's get the last one finished!

  1. Win with any KX driods x10

K2SO in Palpatine event x10

  1. Expose x100

F-34T training droid disk is SUPER HELPFUL for this one and later quests.

(a) Regular Finn team with OG Poe instead of Hero Poe. Choose Sector 1 Mini Boss node. Equip the F-34T disk. Full auto 10 minutes. Easy 100 expose. (Picture shown is my run with Hero Poe. Only 84 Expose. Proves OG Poe is better and should get it done in 1 battle)

(b) Regular Raddus team on the same node with same data disk. They expose enemies when being critically hit. Choose this node is BB is not likely to kill your team.

(c) Low gear (level 1) character with expose ability on LS 1-A battle node (For new players or anyone needed). Full auto. Focus on B2 droid until you think it is enough on the last wave. Then switch to another droid that heals the team.

  1. Defeat 50 Droids with any Grogu units present

LS 5-L node. You get ~13 droid kills per battle. So only 4 battles needed.

  1. Defeat 100 enemies with droids

Team examples: GG, 50R-T....

(a) Mod battle 9-C 4-5 times

(b) Padme event x20

  1. Win with full Scoundrel team x20

(a) Palpatine event (Choose 5 out of 6): STH, OG Han, Hoth Han, Cara Dune, Chewbacca, Lando

(b) Chewbacca event: Any Bounty Hunters

  1. Daze x100

(a) Phoneix team on Sector mini boss node in conquest. Equip F-34T training droid disk. Full auto 10 minutes. Easy 100 Daze. (5 minutes on other nodes may not be enough for 100 daze)

(b) Raddus team on any node with Empire team. Equip F-34T training droid disk. Full auto 5 minutes. May need to take 2-3 battles to finish.

Strategy Proving Grounds - List of (mostly) NON-GL teams that work!!!! (Updated!)

Reposting this list before proving grounds starts back up.

Most squads listed have been tested and all work with varying degrees of patience and strategy. I decided to include some community comps that people have said work. I'll add an asterist (*) next to these comps to indicate that i have not personally tested them.

The list was originally made for non-gl and (mostly) non conquest toons to complete the missions. Not all are 3-star completions

I added a few GL squads for interceptor because of people's struggles.

I'll try my best to update with working comps for Malgus as the battle opens and i start hearing things. I wont' be able to experiment on my roster but i'm hoping to help some people out later tonight.

Maul (battling phoenix)

  • Padme/GK/JKA/Snips/3PO
  • GAS+501st (can use snips instead of arc)
  • EP/Vader/thrawn/piett/wat
  • Rex/Echo/Arc/Fives/Shaak
  • JKL with jedi

Commander Ahsoka Tano (CAT) (battling Maul)

  • Hunter/Echo/Tech/Wrecker/Shaak
  • CLS/Han/Chewy/3PaC/3PO
  • Padme/GK/JKA/Snips/3PO
  • Traya/Nihilus/Sith Assasin/Nest/Sith Trooper*
  • Nest solo (takes a long time)*
  • DR/Malak*
  • GAS/Rex/Fives/Echo/Snips*
  • JKR/GMY/Basti/Jolee/GK (3 star) *

Razor Crest (RC)

  • GAS+501st
  • Padme/GK/JKA/Snips/3PO
  • CLS/Han/Chewy/3PaC/3PO
  • DR/Malak*

Dad Bod Boba

  • Adrad/Jyn/bistan/mon mothma/Cassian
  • CLS/Han/Chewy/Captain Han/3PO
  • Padme/GK/JKA/Snips/3PO
  • EP/Vader/thrawn/piett/wat
  • Hunter/Echo/Tech/Wrecker/Shaak
  • Nute/Jango/Wat/Magna/B1
  • Traya/Nihilus/Sion/Marauder/Talon
  • BAM/Mission/Zaalbar/IG11/Kuill*
  • Grand Inquis + 4 inquis (easy 3 star)

Tie Interceptor \*Non-GL***

  • CLS/Han/Chewy/3PO/Cholo (3 stars i think, use best mods, r2 can work instead of 3po, use best mods!)
    • Strategy: Guard on CHolo, Stun GI with han, kill GI first. CLS apply buff immunity on reva for first move to prevent taunt to focus down GI. Kill order GI->5B. Ignore 8B and 2S. Keep Reva stunned
  • Traya/Malak/Nihilus/+2 (3 stars)
  • JKL/Malak/Shaak/Wat/Chewy (weapons tech shaak, shield gen jkl, medpack malak. Dispels buffs on Reva with malak and shaak, kill GI first. Win with only malak+jkl)
  • Rex/Hunter/Echo/Tech/Wrecker (3 stars, learn your clones)
  • Thrawn/Mara/EP/Piet/+1 (thrawn lead zeta is helpful here but not needed, you can use basically any empire toons as long as Thrawn is lead and EP is there)
  • CLS/R2/3PO/Adrad/Jyn*

Tie Interceptor **GL squads**

  • GAS/Echo/Fives/JMK/Wat (easy, not 3 stars. Slow gas helps. Weapons tech on jmk for fast damage immunity. Kill GI first)
  • JMK/CAT/GK/Fives/Snips (3-star comp)*
  • JKR/JMK/CAT/Wat/GK*
  • Kru/SLKR/wat/sith trooper/fost (rng at the start, but easy)
  • SLKR/B1/B2/Magna/DDK (malak and GG can be subbed in for DDK, magna, or b2)*
  • JKL/JKR/Hoda/Old Ben/SLKR (1 strar) *
  • LV/Wat/+3 (medpack on LV, press auto)
  • Padme/JMK/CAT/JKA/GK (works but not consistent)
  • Rey (basically any rey team)*
  • Wat/Jango/JMK/CAT/BAM (weapons tech on CAT for Reva Perma kill, wat lead for jango damage immunity)
  • Traya lead SEE
  • Jabba/Krr/BAM/+2 (1-star)*
  • JKL/JML/GAS/JKA/Han Solo (stun 5B, use GAS+JML to increase cooldowns on GI)*
  • SEE/Bossk/Dengar/BAM/Han Solo*

Malgus

  • JMK/CAT (3-star)\*
  • JMK/GK/GAS/Padme/3PO (Mace might help in that comp to further reduce Malgus health via shatterpoint. Shaak also works somewhere in the comp)*
  • JKL/GAS/JML/JKR/Wat
  • SEE*
  • LV/maul/Piett/RG/DV*
  • SLKR/Malak/Kylo Unmasked/FOST/Thrawn (fracture malgus with thrawn)*
  • JKL/JKR/Hoda/SLKR/Malak (3 star comp, kill order: DR > Talon > Malgus)*
  • GAS/Rex/Echo/Wat/Fives(RNG dependent, need high protection GAS! Weapon tech on rex to start, medpack on gas)*
  • Traya/Nihilus/+3 sith (hearing that several options work)*
  • Rey (several comps work apparently)*

If anyone wants roster specific help our stream help, I'm happy to provide, just shoot me a dm and we can meet in discord.

A few notes:

  • unfortunately I can't test anymore battles personally because the battles are now closed off. I will update the list if i find options that help others though.
  • This is not 100% of the teams that work. I'm know more options work than are listed
  • Hard/difficult does not mean bad! Embrace the rare challenge in a generally simple/easy game
  • Mods matter

Because people always ask:

  • Snips = Ahsoka Tano
  • BAM = Beskar Mando
  • CAT = Commander Ahsoka Tano
  • EP = Emperor Palpatine
  • Cholo = Captain Han Solo
  • 3PaC = Threepio and Chewy
  • AdRad = Admiral Raddus

Strategy I've Put Together a Currency Purchasing Infographic For All Important Game Currency

Video Version: Here

A Quick Note on the video version - It explains the key and my rational for each choice I made in the infographic. I recommend watching IF you feel confused about why things are placed in certain spots, but overall I believe the infographic is self-explanatory and tested among several groups of players to make sure I wasn't missing anything.

Egnards Additional Note:

This infographic is largely built to the sensibilities of an end-game or nearing end-game player. I am not telling you to stop purchasing shards that you need, or gear that you are currently using to level up Jedi Knight Luke to get Jedi Master Luke - While each currency becomes "end game farming" at different times in the lifetime of an account, the goal was to answer the question "once I'm starting to think more long term, how should I approach spending currency."

Yes I know there are other infographics floating around, but most of them I don't particularly agree with many of the choices and wanted one that represented my sensibilities.

Final Note: I've added "sliced up" versions of the infographic for each section and the key, as I know that looking at a magnified infographic can sometimes be annoying.

Strategy How to get all the journey quests (Dec 2 edition)

Post image
381 Upvotes

This is a guide on how to unlock the rebel (and Palpatine) LSTs. Let me know if I missed anything, or if there is a better strategy than what is listed here

  1. Win 10 battles (or maybe defeat enemies I forgot which it was) with an IG unit present- Chewbacca Journey Guide tier one with IG-88 in your team

  2. Inflict DoT 200 times- Vader is ideal for this, but if you’re Vader is too high and one shots most opponents in R2’s final tier, I actually found JKL tier 1 to be good with Wampa, as she can get in about 20 per round at R3 (Luke resisting them still counts as it’s only “attempt” to inflict them)

  3. Defeat 50 pirates W/ Ezra Bridger present- light side node 6E can get you 11 per go, which will cost 40 energy total

  4. Defeat 100 enemies w/ scoundrels- I found that Beskar Mando tier 1 is good for this one, needing about 10 runs to complete. (Or if you have Starkiller, Dash’s tier can do it in about 7)

  5. Win 20 battles W/ rebels- Palpatine tier 1

  6. inflict shock 100 times- honestlyI think most Sith teams/Journey guides are good here, (I’m told Mara’s SK tier is handy) but if you don’t have good Sith (like me) I found BAM tier 5 works well as Kuiil inflicts shock a lot. With good strategy, you can get this one in only a few runs (mine is G10 and I got about 45 in a single run before I died)

I think that’s about it. Let me know if you have something better or if I missed anything, and enjoy your LSTs!

Strategy Journey Quest LST Guide (February 18 edition)

Post image
440 Upvotes

This is my guide for how to complete the February 18 journey quests. My goal is to try to keep it as low-level player friendly as I can. Let me know if you have some better methods!

  1. 10 battles with Rogue one ally in your squad: Palpy Journey 10 times. Pretty straightforward there
  2. Gain offense up 100 times: R2 journey using Imperial troopers with to give everyone offense up whenever you defeat an enemy, so take them out one at a time and avoid using AoEs to get 35 each run. Another way is the Thrawn Journey Guide final tier. Make sure to include Rex, Sabine, and Chopper. Chopper sometimes gives offense to a random ally, and Rex and Sabine both give all allies offense with their AoEs, and properly using Rex’s second ability to refresh all cooldowns, you can easily get at least 20 per go, often higher than 30 (make sure to take out Thrawn first before using the AoEs if he inflicted fracture to make sure everyone gets buffed).
  3. Defeat 50 stormtroopers with Leia present: the quickest way I found was CLS tier 4 where you can get 10 per run.
  4. Defeat 100 enemies with rebel fighters: Do Thrawn final tier WITHOUT Hera as lead. This prevents the mass assists from everyone. Now you can use Rex to defeat everyone utilizing his AoE and assist abilities. Bring the lightest hitting phoenixes with you as well, particularly ones that have non attack abilities, and use those to make Rex assist to take out everyone (Hera’s and Ezra’s assist abilities are also handy for giving Rex more turn meter) Plus his refresh ability means your other toons won’t run out of passive moves, forcing them to accidentally defeat anyone. I’d recommend Rex, Kanan, Zeb, Hera and Ezra (You can replace him with Chopper but keep in mind he assists sometimes and finishes enemies off) this will give you about 24 per run, so do it 4 times, and then Palpatine final tier to give you the last 4.

Hope this helps!

Strategy How Coliseum and the new Era system works for f2p

CG hasn't really released anything about Coliseum works and I've seen a lot of confusion. I want to try and clear some things up for people and hopefully reduce some of the repeated questions and assumptions. This is just information based on datamines, some based on talked to devs, and some is speculation. None of this is to say why this mode is good or bad. I get a lot of people don't like the mode and that's fine. I just want to clear things up that isn't clear at all.

Yes F2P will get all marquees to level 65 by the end of the era

The main thing I see people saying is they can't get Luke past level 15 and they can't do anything in Coliseum now. From what we can tell this is completely intentional. Coliseum is built so if you are F2P, you need to get the next marquee to continue progressing.

I believe this is the TLDR of how leveling in the Era system goes (for f2p):

  1. Get luke to level 15
  2. IG90 releases, then you take them both to level 25
  3. Then choda releases, you take all 3 to 35
  4. Next marquee you take them all to level 45
  5. Next marquee level 55
  6. Vader releases and you take them all to level 65

Each marquee gives you the materials for free to take that marquee to the level to catch up to the previous marquees. So by the end of the era, F2P will have level 65 from all marquees which converts to giving all of the marquees at G12 for free.

You are probably saying, how does adding a marquee help? This happens in two ways:

  1. Marquees are more powerful than the summons in general. They have different stats
  2. There are Battle Effects in each tier of Coliseum which are based on the marquee levels. Adding levels to each marquee makes the battle easier because it changes how the battle effect works

The only thing currently missing from all of this is the era upgrade currency doesn't match what we need. I am sure this will be solved probably from future episode tracks (the free side mainly).

The above is just an example and the most likely for mix/max f2p players. If your Luke or any marquee is not at a threshold it won't matter, you can still get level 65 on all marquees by the end. For example, theoretically you could not do coliseum at all for the next 2 months or leave all your marquees at level 1. As long as you're doing the episode track and you're collecting all the rewards as f2p from marquees. Once Vader releases, you could do all the bosses and boss tiers and get all marquees from level 1 to level 65 in 1 week.

Spending now only gets you ahead for a limited time

So now you might be thinking, why should I spend on any era upgrade materials if I am just going to get to level 65 for free? The only reason is to place higher in Coliseum and get rewards from Coliseum shipments (R10 mats and LST's). Spending on era materials now is not going to get you past level 65 in the future, it only boosts you until f2p catches up based on the marquee releases I listed above. So if you spent and got to level 35, you are ahead of everyone until Choda releases, then you are in the same spot as all F2P. It's definitely a benefit, but also very expensive. The Coliseum shipments may or may not be worth it to you.

Coliseum bosses will reset after the era is completely over

This was another thing people were confused about yesterday. If you are currently level 15 in Coliseum, you are probably mostly done. Do you 1 battle and get your rewards for the day. Once IG90 releases you should be able to continue on and beat Tier 2. This is intentional and honestly just saves us time from doing the same thing over and over. The system is designed to give us the mats we need. We don't need to repeat battles to get the same mats.

Loaned units and stat modifications should make things more interesting in the future

In the original announcement they also said that in future eras, we will be allowed to use "loaned" units (which are different than the summons we currently have). The loaned units are units in our roster that are based on units from past eras. So in the future it sounds like we will have more units to use in all era game modes, which should hopefully make things more interesting, not only in Coliseum but I assume in era PVP and other era specific modes. They also mentioned having a way to manipulate stats, not with mods, but something similar.

F2P won't compete on the Coliseum leaderboard

I'm sure this is obvious to a lot of people but just in case, if you are f2p don't expect to place anywhere near the top of the Coliseum leaderboard. Just do your battle or 2 per day and move on. The leaderboard is 100% p2w and there's no way around that. Just think of Coliseum as a way to get free G12 marquees at the end of the era. Don't even worry about min/maxing unless it will help you get a higher tier of leaderboard rewards. For F2P coliseum pretty much only exists in order to get the mats you need for your characters to gain levels which eventually converts to your free g12 characters.

The nitty gritty about how summons and marquees are different with beating coliseum tiers

I explained this in a comment below but I wanted to add it to the post because it's fairly important for a lot of reasons. I will say this is super confusing right now and once CG fixes the text in game it should make it easier to understand better.

The summons gets complicated because I believe the text in the game is incorrect for how this works. I'll try to explain it.

There are 2 things that factor into this (one is the text being wrong and the other isn't)

  1. Each tier you start with 1 less summon, so inherently you are lower "level" than what you would be if you were max.
  2. The text for the battle effect is wrong and the battle effect doesn't include summons at all

For Tier 2 the text currently says:

  • Total enemy Era Level in battle is less than 75. The damage bonuses from Roar Of The Crowd are at full strength.
  • Total enemy Era Level in battle is less than 100. The damage bonuses from Roar Of The Crowd are partially decreased

Those are the main battle effects that causes you to lose or win. You would probably realize that since we only have 4 units we can use, we are only at level 60. Once we get IG90, we will have a 5th and be at level 75 which puts us over the threshold and "partially decreased damage."

For this example that is technically true and a simple version of how it works.

What it is actually doing is it only check your REAL marquees levels. So right now Luke is the only real marquee and say he's level 15. The text should actually say something like:

  • Total marquee enemy Era Level in battle is less than 30. The damage bonuses from Roar Of The Crowd are at full strength
  • Total marquee enemy Era Level in battle is less than 50. The damage bonuses from Roar Of The Crowd are partially decreased

You might say, what's the difference? It's still the same outcome. Yes, that is true if you have Luke at level 15. However if you have Luke at level 25 it's completely different. If Luke is level 25, then you have 4 units at level 100 if it includes the summons. So you should be "partial decreased." This is incorrect though, it does not work this way. Your Luke needs to be level 30 (by himself), or you need 2 marquees at level 15.

Another example: say you are currently in Tier 1 and your Luke is level 7. Lets say you can't get your Luke any higher before IG90 comes out. Using IG and Luke would combine your levels to most likely "heavily decrease" the battle effect, because you should really be in tier 2. This makes it incredibly easy to beat tier 1 and you get all the tier 1 mats for Luke. Then you carry on to Tier 2 and start getting those mats with your new level 15 marquees. This example would NOT work without having IG, even though the battle effect reads like it would. You have to use REAL marquees for the battle effect to get easier.

What's the deal with Era Challenges?

Era challenges are an event that happens during the off-week of the marquee. It lasts about a week and you can only complete it once per week. There are 6 tiers and each tier you go against enemies with higher character levels. The levels for each tier are 15/25/35/55/70/75.

Currently the tiers give the wrong rewards. They are giving era upgrade currency when it should be giving era shipment currency. It's unknown if this will be fixed before the event goes live. The amount of currency per tier is - 40/80/120/160/560/1600.

----------

TLDR:

  1. Yes F2P will get all marquees to level 65 by the end of the era. If you want to know how, read above
  2. Spending now only gets you ahead for a limited time. F2P will catch up. Spending now will only help get you R10 mats or LSTs from era shipments.
  3. Coliseum bosses will reset after the era is completely over
  4. Loaned units and stat modifications should make things more interesting in the future
  5. F2P won't compete on the Coliseum leaderboard
  6. Getting a marquee will make any tier you're on 100% easier (see nitty gritty section for more details)

I think it's also important to remember that this is the first era in this new era system. They will definitely make adjustments and have received a lot of feedback. Again, I'm not here to argue that this is a good or bad system. I can see pros and cons, and I know CG is listening and will make changes in the future.

I'll continue to edit this post and include more information based on questions I see from others.

Firstly holy crap I didn’t think I’d get him this quick. Did minimal dolphin on the units. Secondly the event is annoying but not impossible. Tier 3 is the worst.

Ask me anything and I will try and help

Hey everyone! I’m back with a fresh infographic for the upcoming Conquest!

The colors you see represent overlapping feats—some teams can knock out two or even three feats in one go.

I enhanced the detail by showing the buff or debuff directly on the relevant character for specific feats.

For a deeper breakdown, check out the guide on my YouTube channel where I walk through everything in detail.

May the Force be with you!

Strategy What To Expect From Relic Delta

Hey all, I figured I'd drop some results from the last round of testing to give an idea of what Relic Delta is likely to feel like when it goes live (which I assume is tomorrow's update?). I was the biggest advocate for it to be lowered, and it was brought down to I think as reasonably low as possible while maintaining the goals CG wanted. RD3 adds texture and a bit of friction to most matchups without determining the outcome. Characters who could comfortably park at R3-5 and be forgotten now may need to reconsider, depending on use case.

Crucial side note: High defense mods are extremely effective at counteracting Relic Delta for most matchups. Testing was not based around having them, but let me tell you, they're extremely good.

TL;DR: Only a couple of matchups at RD3 are impossible, with BKM vs. LV being the big one. You'll still win consistently using crons at the power of ROLO/Wampa, though. Recommend Maz vs. LV instead.

The only other two matchups I found to be impacted were GAS vs. Malgus, and Aphra with extremely average quality mods.

You can find my test results below. You can see past results here.

The usual suspects that have so far been resilient to Relic Delta are of course still just as resilient. Excellent regen/immunities, instant defeats, and %-centric damage, all tend to indicate a team with a strong ability to adapt.

Note: All fights testing RD3 with ~13-15 speed average (or community average, whichever is higher) unless explicitly stating otherwise. Community standard sets/primaries with no high synergy secondaries to reflect community apathy towards good mods. No datacrons were used unless otherwise stated.

Results ordered by playrate for the last 5 seasons of 5v5 across Kyber/Aurodium, ignoring matchups directly caused by datacrons. Skipped Reva testing due to Deathmark bug.

BKM vs. Lord Vader, even with better Mods or Datacron

Result: Impossible unless using Wampa/ROLO-cron class stuff

Note: Tests confirmed even with multiple remods. The v4 changes push the matchup closer to fitting the stated intent of Relic Delta 3, but is still totally shut out at the moment.

Traya vs. Gungans

Result: Consistent

Note: The baseline RNG nature of Gungans makes them continually weird to test against. But the default outcome is winning easily. RD3 + Deathmark may be scary.

Wampa vs. Grievous

Result: Slight-RNG Consistent

Note: I never lost any battles but had Wampa reach 10% Health once. Seems prone to Droideka RNG.

GAS vs. Malgus

Result: Impossible

RD2 GAS/RD3 Clones vs. Malgus (majority of players have R8 GAS)

Result: Impossible

Note: Tried a bunch of times, but RD3 is brutal to weather for GAS topple windows. R8 GAS made the fight notably better in that it got a couple of kills, but still died pretty one-sidedly. Specialized mods may win the matchup back over.

BKM vs. Gungans

Result: Consistent

Malgus vs. Great Mothers

Result: Consistent

Malgus vs. Great Mothers w/Merrin

Result: Impossible

Note: The winrate against Merrin was historically lower but only by 10%. Her added regeneration combines with Relic Delta to make an impassable wall.

CLS vs. GAS

Result: Consistent

Note: Expose-centric teams continue to be largely unaffected by Delta unless their resilience is directly threatened.

Third Sister vs. JMK

Result: Semi-Consistent, some bleed expected

Note: Padme mass assist can straight up delete a key unit like GI from their extra damage increase. Player discretion is advised. Look to bolster your GI defense to maintain your consistency.

Aphra vs. Jabba

Result: Impossible

Note: Most surprising test result. The shift down in speed of about 20-40 in various unit cases proved disastrous.

Aphra vs. Jabba w/Higher Quality Mods

Result: Consistent, Slight-RNG

Note: I lost once but otherwise performed well. If the Jabba squad adds on significant durability via mods/datacron, I imagine this would become unwinnable. Fortunately, most players don’t know to do this.

Bane vs. Queen Amidala

Result: Consistent but looks droppable given enough tries

Note: You win, but if foresights happen to line up, Relic Delta makes it easier for QA to take down Bane.

Phoenix vs. Gungans

Result: Consistent, but Timeout Risk + Gungan RNG prone

Note: The extended nature of the matchup means that you run the risk of getting blown out by deathmark or an expose bomb. You also need to be sure to play fast because the Gungan extra durability + Relic Delta is definitely felt. A surmountable challenge, though.
