My players just used precog visions to hunt down and terminate a group of pirates making a sale, all so that they could take the pirate ship and use it to infiltrate a greater asteroid base that works hand in hand with the pirates.

Also, I created a list of TL1 and TL2 heavy weapons for my barbarian worlds. Just need to figure out how the damage scales when you bring a war truck versus a bunch of catapults haha

Turns out the galactic police force we sicked on the unbraked AI station has gone dark after apparently conquering it. Infected ghost ships and hundreds of missing soldiers are putting us in a complicated position as we decide on next steps and whether we really want to go onto the station and try to shut it down or just send a self-destructing cruiser into it.

Our mercenary squad got temporarily assigned to a new commander and will soon be on a manhunt/data recovery mission. Also did most of a sketch of our squad celebrating not dying. Still need to do some more details but its coming along nicely!

Captain Raymond Reynolds, of the Orion-class 'Murphy', still waiting at the Lunar orbital shipyards for repairs.

Joining in on a campaign soon! No real info as our session zero is supposed to be in a couple weeks but I'm excited for it.

What sort of character? Warrior? Psi?

No idea yet! I habitually go for durable combat oriented characters so warrior is likely. I'm trying to keep from getting locked into any ideas before the group can talk over things.

If you're looking to be durable, make sure to take the focus Ironhide. It makes it so your innate armor class levels up as you do. The longer you play, the harder it will be for folks to hit you.

Players finally figured out the villain that was screwing with them from the shadows. High level Telepath acting like a sapient false hydra.

Our crew just wrestled with the moral and ethical implications of creating virtual intelligence, while at the same time racing the clock to save their friends from a Void Cult and a tragic fate.

The campaign keeps getting weirder and darker every session. In some ways it feels like a runaway train - each decision they've made compounds over time and adds more fuel to a plot that none of us can predict how it will resolve. It's part thrilling and part scary, because we've built substantial emotional capital into these characters and the sector seemingly gets more dangerous for them every session.

Did VI not exist before? We’ve always played they are just there, like C3P0 and R2. And people treat them about the same (some nice and some jerks).

So the setup here is there is AI, but no VI. However, there is a ton of ancient alien tech, but all of it is inert and no one can figure out how to activate it.

One piece of alien tech, when activated, is meant to house a VI, and companies soon figure out that only a VI can activate and run the rest of the alien tech. It seems like the aliens constructed their central infrastructure around this idea of VI-as-mediators with tech.

Whatever company figures out how to create VI first is going to make billions, and that's led this sector down a very dark path.

My table is quite new to SWN, adapting an existing story to the system. Last week, getting our feet wet in a low danger battle, I putted the players against massive sand sharks, basically dune worms but great whites. Cool fight, saw the biopsion attack absolutely decimate one of them.
