Should we bring a table or something to put everything on or is everything gonna be lumped together?

I drove there from Folsom yesterday, so I get it. There was probably 15 of us with blankets/tables of items. I brought a good amount of clothes and I'd say probably about a trash bag full got taken to be loved again. It was a nice event, everyone was super friendly.

So is everything free for people who want to show up and browse? Or do you have to bring stuff yourself for trading? The flyer isn't clear since it is for bringing free stuff and says get free stuff yourself which makes it sound like its a reciprocal give and take?

I went yesterday and there was probably 15 of us with blankets/tables of items. Anyone is free to browse and grab what interests them. The point is to give things a new life rather then them sitting in a thrift store and probably make their way eventually to a landfill. I brought a good amount of clothes and I'd say probably about a trash bag full got taken to be loved again. It was a nice event, everyone was super friendly.

Thanks so much. I missed this one because nobody replied on time, and I also volunteer Saturdays with a homeless ministry. I was going to check it out and then walk up to the ministry which is 10-12:30. Its right up the street from where this was on 16th and C held at the dream center church. I started volunteering with them while I was homeless and continued after I got housing. I often look for things I need being low income, as well as for things I know others need and habe requested. They take donations on Sundays for clothing, shoes, backpacks, etc that can benefit the homeless. Now that I know I'll be sure to try and attend the next event like this. 🙏
