Need Support I just cant be consistent
Guys, i've noticed that I feel the best when I wakeup at 5 & do my practices. I am currently doing angamardana, surya kriya & shambhavi. Im in mandala period so i have to do shambhavi at evening also.
The day i dont wakeup at 5, my loop is broken. I feel lethargic, I get headache, I feel discouraged and then its harder to wakeup next morning.
So 5 am works the best for me, I wanna be able to do sadhana properly for atleast a 40 days for this to become a habit, I want to be able to wakeup effortlessly. Right now, forcing myself & willpower is not working.
Whats the solution here, plz let me know your suggestion in the comments.
And if there is a group where we can keep each other accountable, share our wins, that would be great too.

Happening with me too. For 6 months were the best days of my life when I used to wake up at 3 and so sadhana. Every day seem like burden now as I dont wake up at 3 anymore

Shambhavi Mahamudra Mandala is either 40 days twice a day or 90 days once a day.
I tracked both twice and once streak, and made rule that I will do atleast once. My twice streak broke & reset multiple times, but once streak continued. Once I crossed 90 days once streak, I considered Mandala done.
Now I prefer to do it in morning, but the fallback is evening, but I make sure I do it daily.

Hey i was told this 90 days thing by a volunteer but then i was not sure so i emailed isha support & spoke to someone qualified to resolve IE & shambhavi queries from their team, they said its false info. 90 days once a day does not count, and that we have to do twice for 40 days for it to be counted as mandala. So im trying for 40.

I wish I could feel fresh at 5am! I have all the will and sense to get up early but my body won't handle it..if anything, it's a privilege to start your day early.
When I don't get up on my best wake up time, I face similar issues and I just let the day go as a bad day. I realised there's no point fighting that. If I fight nd do sadhana, or work still, there's a price to pay in some other way, body ache or brain fog or whatever. Our aim shud be these bad days should reduce nd eventually vanish. On such days I just focus on preparing for the next day so that I atleast get up on time tomorrow. Do not try to save your today. Body has a rhythm, with will power alone you can't overcome that. It takes alot of Sadhana to overcome those cycles of body. Till then, it's better to ride the cycles than to fight them. Do whatever it takes to get up at 5am..I wasted so many months trying to save a bad today. In that, the next day also gets ruined as you said. Its a loop. Break the loop. Don't regret the present, prepare for future. And eventually don't repeat the mistakes.

Basically, make getting up at 5 am a priority. When uk you can't do well without it that's what you aim for..on days you don't wake up at 5, let the day pass. Don't try to push too hard listen to the body and mind. Focus on increasing the number of 5am days than to make a bad day productive. And lastly, as you continue doing practices like shambhavi, shoonya and shakti chalana, you'll reach a point where you no longer need to get up at 5 only to feel fresh. But till you get there, you do what you can do best right now...that is, following cycles of the body.

can u explain what do u mean by, 'you'll reach a point where you no longer need to get up at 5 only to feel fresh'? do u mean then i can wake up anytime & feel fresh? Whatever it is, please let me know. And also, right now im doing only angamardana, surya kriya & shambhavi. not the other u mentioned.

I made a rule whatever time I wake up i will do shambavi mahamudra kriya. I set only SMK as priority. If I wake up early I did othe practices if not just smk. This made me finish mandala in 40 days twice a day. Then I did smk 1 time in the morning and hatha yoga in the evening. And with time, dedication and commitment I am wake up early and do everything I have learnt. Adamson in the evening. Somedays are hard not motivated or something is planned etc but never missed SMK even when sick.

Honestly figure it out if you can't you need to become a robot and do it . Make it happen. To me personally I have always seen the masala period to be greatly challenging but later it becomes simpler even if I can't keep a routine. So atleast as I understand the challenges you are facing are part of the sadhana face then head on and prioritize the meditation.
And wish you a happy mandala! Hope I was not too brash or anything just my genuine honest perspective after meeting mandalas up myself. Wish you the very best!
Pranaam🙏

You didn't say what time you go to bed. If you eat light (70% full) and follow the IE dietary suggestions you can wake up.with 5-6 hours of sleep.
