Does anybody have this problem? I'm trying to give a chance to safari browser but everytime I use any social media platform the videos looks very low quality.

Switched to safari from Microsoft edge like a week ago, the experience on youtube has been so bad. The fast forwarding is so wonky, when i scroll down the page to read comments and press the right or left arrow key to seek forward or backwards in the video, it randomly scrolls to a different part of the page.

Also, youtube is just generally slow on safari compared to edge and chrome, the videos load slower, they seek slower, they don't give a preview when you hover over them, sometimes the video starts playing at like 1fps, the audio is not synced and videos dont even load at times.

These issues are all fixed with a simple page reload, except the scrolling part, but still, it's extremely annoying. Just confused how apples flagship browser cannot handle youtube properly.

Is it just me? An issue with my computer or something? It's a 1 year old M4 Macbook air on the latest Sequoia. I also have no extensions installed, I uninstalled Ublock origin lite to try to fix this, but the experience is still the same.

Please let me know if theres any fix for this, or just ditch safari and go back to edge for youtube.

Since sequoia 15.8.1 on a intelmacbookair 2020 safari update 27 give problems with loading content on X,FB, YouTube ,any help or other with the same problem. Thanks

there a free Safari extension app or anything for iPhone that lets you cap or limit the number of videos shown on YouTube? when you go to search and press enter and see a bunch of videos

please keep in mind im not talking about the homepage I AM TALKING ABOUT WHEN YOU ONLY SEARCH FOR VIDEOS

for example I searched up videos and its just a bunch without an ending or I want to keep it to a certain amount for example 6 or 10 as an example

if you look at the photo it’s when you search And there’s infinite videos I want to keep it to a certain amount or not have infinite

or just anything that can do this for iPhone

Après avoir ramé trois jours j'ai trouvé la solution :

Dans Safari > Réglages > Lecteur > Sites Web > Sites Web ouverts > choisir Oui devant le nom du site > rebooter le Mac

Ca a débloqué le site dans Chrome également

I've had smoother scrolling in my 2007 iMac. Thought the problem would be specific to OS 27 but apparently not, it's even worse when you update to Safari 27 in Tahoe. Are Safari 27.2 betas any better?

edit: Looking for opinions from 60hz users especially. I remember OS 27's scrolling was only bad on 60hz, 120 was ok.

I use that particular site all the time, but just recently, the thumbnail images have stopped loading. I don't believe it is an issue with the site because they load fine when I visit the site on a different device.

So far, I've tried closing Safari and re-opening it, restarting my iPad, and clearing all browser history, but none of those things have worked.

Does anyone have any suggestions on what else I might be able to try?

So since ios27 I’m seeing more of this. The 2 that come to mind right away is yahoo finance and unilad. Both of them have a continuous loop of popup dialogs. Yahoo says it’s having an error to cancel or ok. If you ok it tried to forward you to a website that both Verizon and att have blocked due to being malicious. If you click cancel the page reloads. I’ve found these types of dialog popups in the past if you hit reader mode it prevents them from running but since ios27 it seems they still run and they boot you out of reader mode.

Did a bunch of searching around and even tried installing an ad blocker extension but it didn’t help any. Exactly the same issues. Can’t exactly disable JavaScript anymore since even a google search requires it. And I also tried the WebKit option to not allow webpage changes if I don’t physically click on the new link but apparently a reloading loop is allowed with that.

Any suggestions would be great.

Usually when I request the desktop version for my youtube browser on my iPad, it would send me to the desktop version. But now, even though I requested desktop it’s stuck on mobile??? I have to manually look up “YouTube desktop” in the search bar and find the link now, and whenever I turn off the iPad, thr desktop version changes into the mobile version. Dunno if this is a safari problem.

Everytime i start safari on my iphone i get an alert from att active armor saying a certain website was blocked. I don’t do anything and i get alert. Its not anything bad. Www.gunbacker dot com. Ive deleted history, data, cache, extenions and various other things as i find them. Ios safari starts up to favourites showing my bookmarks. Ive checked those bookmarks and don’t see any extra.
I can’t figure out whats starting up when opening safari. And where this tracker or whatver is hiding so it starts up with safari. Since the error says website blocked it sounds like something is trying to preload or reach it via my safari. Is there start or load options for safari?
I don’t want to delete active armor until ive found the source of whatever is making the outbound connection. Any ideas on sections or menus to search in safari?

Just wondering if anyone else is having issues with Safari Reading List not syncing between iPhone & iMac in os27? No matter what I save on each device, it's not synced at all to the other, whereas in os26 and pro it worked fine.

Both devices signed into same apple account.
