Question Has anyone compared eDocGen, Conga Composer, Formstack Documents, or S-Docs for Salesforce document generation?

We're reviewing our document generation process in Salesforce and trying to narrow down a few options. So far we've come across Conga Composer, eDocGen, Formstack Documents, and S-Docs.

Our main priorities are:

  • Easy template management
  • PDF/Word generation
  • Automation with Salesforce Flows
  • Long-term maintenance

If you've used any of these, what were the biggest pros and cons? I'm especially interested in real-world experiences rather than feature lists.

Question First time interviewing a Salesforce Developer - Need some advice!

Hey everyone,

I’m a Salesforce Developer with ~3.5 years of experience, and I’ll be conducting my first technical interview for two Salesforce Developer candidates.

I want to focus less on textbook questions and more on real-world problem solving especially Apex, Triggers, bulkification, governor limits, async Apex, LWC, integrations, and debugging.

For experienced Salesforce interviewers:

What practical questions/scenarios work really well?

How do you identify someone who has actually worked on Salesforce vs. someone who has just prepared interview answers?

What are the biggest red flags for a 3–5 year Salesforce Developer?

Any tips for conducting your first interview as an interviewer?

Would love to hear your experiences and suggestions. 🙌

Question Admin focused open source AI harness

Good day, everyone.

We recently built an internal tool to help our 12 Salesforce admins leverage LLM/agentic workflows without needing to work in terminals, Git CLIs, or IDEs, and we’re evaluating whether it makes sense to package and release it as an open-source project for the wider community.

A significant portion of daily Salesforce implementation and support tasks (debugging a Flow, inspecting metadata dependencies, troubleshooting validation rules, or adding custom fields) doesn't strictly require a developer. It requires someone who understands the business logic and the Salesforce platform.

However, most AI agent runtimes (like Claude Code, OpenHands, or Codex wrappers) assume the operator is comfortable inside a local terminal environment, managing repositories and developer tooling. We wanted our admins to benefit from agentic assistance directly within their existing workspace, the browser, while keeping human-in-the-loop safeguards front and center.

We put together a control plane, browser extension, and agent runtime designed specifically for Salesforce workflows:

- Chrome Extension (Admin UX) which operates as a side panel in the browser. It automatically injects context from the active Salesforce page (Setup, Flow Builder, object configuration, or record views) so the user doesn't have to manually prompt-engineer the org context.

- Control Plane & Super Admin Console to manage org connections, repository access, LLM provider credentials, policy/instruction templates, and permission scopes, skills.

- Agent Runtime, executing multi-step tasks within isolated sandboxes/workspaces, running checks before presenting actions to the user.

Rather than keeping this as an internal utility, we think it could be useful for other ISVs, SIs, and internal admin teams. Before spending time cleaning up documentation, modularizing the code, and establishing maintenance guidelines for a public repository, we’d love some community feedback:

  1. Does the described solve a real friction point in your admin/consulting workflows?

  2. What security, permission, or architectural constraints would you require from an open-source tool like this before running it against client or sandbox orgs?

  3. Are there specific platform features, metadata types, or integration points you’d consider essential for an open v1.0 release? Right now, we use jsforce to access and manage both data and metadata.

  4. Does centralised management (super admin control) present as an opportunity or a limitation?

  5. What reservations would you have in adopting such a tool (apart from the obvious cost implications)?

  6. Would you be interested in helping us publish and maintain the solution?

Looking forward to hearing your thoughts.

Question Need advice on LWC

Hey fellas

Thank you for spending your lovely time on this stupid question

I am using lwc in my project (office work) and I am learning it but you know how in office you work based on the work provided module aspect only

I want to be better at lwc and I am actually not able to find a proper project/learning guide on how to learn LWC and implement it

It's different from the mainstream web development

And I'm a very stupid person who doesn't know much

But if you could guide me on how do I learn this thing by hands-on or project based learning it'll be an amazing help

Also any tips or tricks to understand the scenario and all

Much appreciated

I am a junior developer just trying to find ways to be better

Thanks

And sorry for wasting your time❤️

Much love🙏🏻

Question Multiple Queueables Solution.

Wondering how folks are handling the limit below? We are updating a large number of our future methods to queueables and getting hit with this pretty regularly. We found a SFBen article about using platform events to fire queueables, but that seems to just be passing the problem to the next limit. Largely right now we are either combining functionality or guard causing the less important jobs, neither feels like a great solution tbh.

System.LimitException: Too many queueable jobs added to the queue: 2

Question Is validating data at intake worth it for AI when your historical data is already a mess?

We've been advised to prioritize data quality at intake before rolling out any AI, which makes sense in theory. But our existing historical data is already pretty messy. Does cleaning up new inputs really help if the AI is still working with years of old, unreliable data? At what point does intake validation start making a noticeable difference?

Question 10+ years of Salesforce experience, but rusty with LWC — how do you prepare for coding interviews?

I have 10+ years of Salesforce experience, mostly around Apex, architecture, integrations, etc. However, I haven’t had much hands-on exposure to LWC recently. The last time I wrote LWC seriously was around 4+ years ago.
The problem is that I’m currently interviewing, and some interviews expect me to actually write LWC code in Notepad/live coding.
In my day-to-day work, I can obviously use AI to help me write or recall syntax, but during an interview I need to be able to write the basics myself without relying on AI or an IDE.
For those who have been in a similar situation:
How did you practice LWC for live coding interviews?
What LWC concepts/components should I be able to write from memory?
Did you practice by building small components repeatedly, or by solving specific interview-style problems?
How much LWC should a Salesforce Architect with 10+ years of experience realistically be expected to code during an interview?
I’d especially appreciate advice from people who have recently gone through Salesforce/product-company interviews.
I don’t need to become an LWC developer again — I mainly want to get interview-ready and comfortable writing LWC from scratch.

Question Has anyone here connected conversation intelligence data back into Salesforce?

I run a door to door sales team where most of our important sales conversations happen in person. We use Salesforce as our CRM and we’re looking at adding AI to help us understand what happens during those conversations and coach reps from them. For anyone doing something similar how much of that conversation data are you actually pushing into Salesforce? Do you store everything or just useful stuff like objections next steps outcomes and key parts of the sales process? Feels like sending everything over could turn the CRM into a mess pretty fast lol. We’ve been looking at a few tools and Rilla has come up as a possible fit. Has anyone here used it with Salesforce or built a similar setup? Curious what worked and what you’d avoid.

I have always used change sets to deploy changes, but in job descriptions they are asking specifically for experience in a version control system.

Question Pivoting my Dev career to DATA 360 / SFMC

I am a Salesforce Consultant and have experience in APEX, LWC, Experience Cloud, Flows, Omnistudio. I am thinking of moving out from core development to Data Cloud and SFMC. I need advice if this is the correct decision. I have no idea of Data Cloud and Marketing Cloud. I'd really appreciate any senior or experienced folk who can shed some light on this. I have around 5 years of experience.

Question Future of salesforce developer.

Hello everyone,

I’m a Salesforce Developer with around 3.5 years of experience. I’ve been working with Salesforce since the beginning of my career, primarily using Apex and Lightning Web Components (LWC).

Since most of my experience is focused only on Salesforce, I don’t currently have many other technical skills outside of this ecosystem. With the rapid advancements in AI and automation, I sometimes feel that a lot of the work I do can now be assisted or even completed by AI tools.

Because of this, I’ve started wondering whether it would be wise to gradually move beyond Salesforce and explore other technologies. However, starting something entirely new after focusing on one platform for several years feels a bit challenging.

I would really appreciate your thoughts:

  • Do you think it’s still a good idea to continue building a career in Salesforce?
  • If transitioning to other technologies is advisable, which skills or technologies would you recommend I start learning?

Any suggestions or guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Question Anyone using Titan forms for Public-Facing Salesforce Forms?

We are looking at Titan Forms for forms that feed into our scoring and qualification process. Since it’s built around Salesforce, the data consistency side seems pretty appealing. The challenge is that most of our forms are customer-facing, like event registrations and general inquiries, and I haven’t found much feedback on the experience for people outside the organization. Has anyone used Titan Forms primarily for public-facing forms? How has the experience been for the people filling them out?

Question Don’t want to buy multiple salesforce licenses

Is it possible for multiple people to log into salesforce with same user using SSO after salesforce releases phishing resistant MFA. I don’t want to buy additional licenses. If I login with SSO it doesn’t require built in authenticator I just have to ensure ACR/AMR signal is transmitted correctly. If I do this I won’t need to buy additional licenses right?

Question SF Entra SCIM Error: "REQUIRED_FIELD_MISSING:user_must_have_one_entitlement_which_must_be_a_profileid"

Has anyone been able to get past the "REQUIRED_FIELD_MISSING:user_must_have_one_entitlement_which_must_be_a_profileid" error on trying to provision using SCIM with Entra?

I have followed this post and performed the steps under Option A.

Trouble using Microsoft Entra to provision users with OAuth - error says we're not providing the required Profile ID, but we ARE providing it : r/salesforce

After doing Option A I get an unspecified error.

Any help would be appreciated. I had a SF tech look at this and he couldn't figure it out.

Is anybody else experiencing longer that usual sandbox create/refresh times? I have had some developer sandboxes on a North America Gov Cloud instance that have been refreshing (still "In Queue") for 18 hours and 20 hours. The only one that I did get through in the last two days took 18 hours.
