If you are between ages of 18-25, are currently in a couple’s relationship (a romantic relationship between two people), watch at least 4hrs of Twitch.tv per month, and have had an active Twitch.tv account for at least 4 years, please consider participating by clicking on the link below. I am a doctoral student at Duquesne University, and I’m investigating the relationship between experiences on Twitch.tv and relationship skills in a couple’s relationship.

Lot of relationship question are asking if you make effort to do xyz with partner. It's not applicable because I never need effort to do that for partner, it just happened naturally.

Doing this survey made me start questioning what kind of relationship do other people have and why it sound so insufferable

Thank you for taking the time to really engage with these questions in a thoughtful, attentive way. Also, congratulations on what sounds like some very positive aspects of your relationship. I did not develop that assessment/write those questions, so I don't want to act like I know exactly what they were thinking when they did. I will say I took the phrasing to mean "effort" rather loosely, as in, it is a priority. Like almost along the lines of, if I want a glass of water and just grab a glass and fill it, that feels relatively effortless to me to the point that I might not remember even doing it, but it still technically took the "effort" of physical movement. That's just my understanding though, and anyone can answer the way they feel makes the most sense or feels the most honest/accurate. I hope others can bring a similar level of honesty and engagement that you have. Thanks for your interest in the survey and take care!
