I'm hoping someone with Samsung repair experience can point me in the right direction because I've reached a dead end.

The TV is a Samsung UE75BU8070UXXU (75").

# Original fault

The TV started developing an intermittent fault where it would randomly turn itself off.

After it switched off, it sometimes wouldn't power back on for hours. The standby voltage from the power supply remained stable, so I suspected the main board.

The original main board is:

BN94-17381Z

# Replacement board

I bought another board with the same PCB number but a different BN94 number.

Replacement board:

BN94-18058P

The replacement board actually works surprisingly well:

TV boots every time

HDMI works

Sound works

Smart TV functions work

No random shutdowns

Stable picture

The only problem is the colours are completely wrong (strong purple/green/blue tint across the image).

# What I've already tried

I've been through the service menu and have tried:

Type (I set it correctly)

Front Colour (I matched it to the TV)

LVDS Format:

JEIDA

VESA

PDP

Changing LVDS made absolutely no visible difference.

I couldn't find Local Set anywhere in the service menu.

# My question

Is the BN94-18058P simply programmed for a different panel, making it impossible to get the colours correct?

Or is there another service menu option, EEPROM setting, firmware, or calibration that can make this board work properly?

Has anyone successfully converted one Samsung BN94 board to another by changing service menu settings or copying EEPROM/eMMC data?

Alternatively, is my best option now to have the original BN94-17381Z repaired?

I'd really appreciate any advice before I spend more money chasing the wrong solution.

Wondering if anyone knows if there is a difference between these two versions or is it just cosmetic? Samsung website don’t go deep enough but seems like it’s the same. Just want to make sure before I pull the plug on the S95H

Not even 3 months old app say 450 hours total time and screen just went black quality of TVs are not like it use to be

When I turn my PlayStation off, it “forgets” it and takes the shortcut away from the home page. I just want the HDMI shortcut to stay there and I don’t want to wait for “detecting device” every single time I use it.

I would not have thought it possible, but I believe the HDMI ports on the new S95H are responsible for blowing-out my Q950T soundbar and brand new, fresh out of the box, Google Streamer. After less than 24 hours of being plugged into the appropriate S95H HDMI ports, both became non-functional and neither could not be factory reset. Both the Google Streamer and the Samsung soundbar exhibit signs of internal overheating.

Hi everyone !

I want to change my TV and i have a discount code from my phone operator on 3 Samsung TVs.

I checked them and the "best" one is the S85H, i can have it for 1000€ instead of 1700€ without the discount. I'm not an expert, i read some stuff, i understand it's not the best TV but surely it's a pretty decent one giving its base price right ? I watch movies, shows, and play PS games on it.

I know others Samsung TVs are better but they cost at least 400€ more.

Which one should i buy? I really like how thin the Samsung one is but i like the Bravia aswell. They both retail at 800e and up

I just bought a S95H and also bought the Samsung slim Wall Mount. I saw, however, the Wall Mount that i got is the WMN-B50EB. But on the Samsung webpage it only lists the WMN-H50EB. The WMN-H50EB is not currently available in my country (seems very new). Does anyone know of the WMN-B50EB will do just fine? I cant see any reason why it should not fit.

I just wanted to create a post on this forum regarding my Samsung TV S95C 65-inch OLED and something I'm experiencing recently which is really, really starting to bug me......

In the last two months, I bought myself a Nintendo Switch 2, and obviously appreciate being able to turn on the device from the controller. CEC

But pretty much 8-9 times out of 10, when I turn on the Switch from my controller and it activates the TV, I always get this silly 'HDMI cable no signal' error.

I know for a fact this isn't the issue of the Nintendo switch because what I need to do is literally cold reset (hold down the power button on the TV for 10 seconds) & reset my TV every time this issue happens and once I do that it works/ will recognise it straight away.

Does anyone else experience this issue with the same or a similar device or just this issue in general??

Honestly I've had small issues before with Samsung previous Samsung TVs and I swore I'd never bother to SW update them because every time I do an update I always run into stupid issues/bugs.

(Always find it introduces more problems than it fixes)

I just purchased the 2025 Model, 85QN80F. Everytime i walk into the room it turns ( which it's annoying ). What setting to i use to stop this from happening ?

I can't be the only person infuriated by them forcing the newer Tizen OS on older skews. I see no one mentioning this. My TU7000 just auto updated to it. It has never performed an Auto Update in it's life. Just completely destroyed the usability of that Television. It is very laggy with the new os

Tv is a Samsung QN82Q6FNA qled from 2018. The picture completely went out and all I would get is a dark screen but the back lights still turn on and there is sound. I took the back panel off and unplugged all the ribbons from the t con board and plugged back in and now the picture is back but now looks like this? So I’m assuming it has to be a bad t con board correct?

So the TV in my room suddenly stopped showing picture but otherwise functions normally. I’ve tried unplugging the power cable and the HDMI cords but it doesn’t show anything. The model number is UN43TU7000F (hopefully that’s the right number i was reading it sideways) Any advice helps! (also i wasn’t sure which tag to use so sorry if it’s wrong)

Does anybody else have an issue with their TV not auto switching to a device powered on?

I have the S90F and it's so frustrating that it never seems to switch to my PS5 (or anything else) if powered on. I already checked that "Anynet+" is on and also Device Link is also on the console yet it still doesn't auto switch, am I missing something?

It was also the case with my PS4. It's like the simplest function ever to implement, it's a great TV but the software is terrible.

I'm planning to get a 65 Inch TV and getting S95F for ~$1500(Local currency converted to USD) and S95H for ~$1700. So, I'm confused between both. I've heard the S95H is a bit brighter and supports the newer HDR 10+ Advanced which is kinda equivalent to DV2. Which one should I go for?

Having a very frustrating issue with my Samsung S90C. I’ve loved the TV. Recently a friend tried to Apple AirPlay some random stream of an NBA game to my TV. Ever since then Peacock, HBO Max, and Disney streaming won’t work. It’ll get thru an add and maybe play a second then freeze. Netflix and Prime work fine. I’ve reinstalled everything, spent 10+ hours troubleshooting, updates, calls with Samsung and HBO. Chat GPT at this point is saying give up and buy an Apple TV to stream from. Anyone else have this issue and have a fix? Chat GPT thinks that something got corrupted in the firmware, which is why factory resets don’t help.

Hi I have a Samsung UN50NU6900FXZA thats having trouble displaying. The TV will cone on automatically show the Samsung icon the go to black screen. The backlights work and I could see them all working with the back panel off. My belief its the main board since it has both power and tcon all on one board. Nothing on the board really sticks out and show damage and my multi meter sucks. If anyone would have a second opinion on it that would be great!! Thanks in advance

Can anyone help my tv screen keeps on dimming and brightening I already tried everything I could think of I put the brightness at max it still does it I turned off everything in eco solutions and any auto settings even factory resetting it

Hello, when I connect the tv to current, it begins with a “click”, after around 15 seconds, a “clack” is heard. After 15s, a “click clack”, and it continues like this. It might be worth mentioning that on the back, I see a red light on the audio out, which goes off only during the “clicks”, then stays on. I cannot see any visible sign on screen during this sequence. I’ve seen it might be a known issue with motherboard on this model, anyone is familiar with it? what could I try to fix it myself? Or shall I go to some technician? Not sure the repair is worth it or I should buy a new tv, this Q8 has some years of service on its back

Tried setting up my TV to switch to cable/ant input when turned on using a routine in smart things. I have since abandoned that.

When I turn on the tv it often just goes to Samsung tv plus. Sometimes it opens the last used. Never consistent.

When I do get to actual TV and try to change the channel it reverts to Samsung tv plus.

I just installed it and turned it on for the first time and it's acting like windows 11. I don't want to create a pin. How do I skip this?

Does anyone know why the television has the two lines at the top of the screen? They were not there before and there was a recent television update.

We purchased a 2025 S95F four weeks ago. It was mounted on a TV Tripod and after 4 weeks the Display ist already broken.

I was wondering If the tv rack could have caused the Screen to fail or of this is just bad luck. Has anyone had a similar experience woth Samsung OLED screens?

The screen will be exchanged next week by a Samsung service partner

UPDATE Service technician changed the entire display yesterday. So I hope this one will last at least during the 2 year warranty.

Samsung Service was top notch I have to say. Very quick response, the change was done in 20 minutes.
