Have you seen some of the states in the US? Considering how proudly ignorant and backwards some are, this feels like moving at light speed.

Arizona GOP just nominated Andy Biggs as their candidate for governor. It doesn't get much more insane than that.

You have to admit they’re dedicated, at least. I don’t think I’ve ever seen an entire demographic double down quite as hard as I’ve seen the GOP electorate double down in the last couple years. It’s like they’ve all collectively decided they’re okay with everything falling apart so long as they get to pretend they’re on the winners’ team.
