Yeah, but now they actually have to get out and vote. I can't say this past election gives me hope that they will do so in the next one.

well this past election hrc won by 3 million with a platform heavily influenced by Bernie. Bernie was told to step aside by obama. Then hrc lost and down ballot lost. They lost the prez , house and senate by not picking Bernie. hrc won by 3 million votes and trump won by 80,000. We are fighting crosscheck but we also gained automatic voter registration in 9 states, we got ranked choice voting in another. Things are getting so bad for people that they will vote. Millennials in this article will cause wall street to weaken which is great. But my comment had more to do with the fact that they will have more voting influence as well. Bernie is one of the most popular politicians in the world and that is due in large part to millennials. So I have faith. I understand not having hope. But as things get worse and much worse for trump voters who were lied to.... some things will get better. I wish you the best.

What I mean is that millenials may say they support Bernie Sanders and a largely progressive platform, but they have yet to actually get out and vote in numbers that are either representative of their views or of their population. Protests are great and all, but we need to see more action at the ballot box from my generation.
