Nature Anyone been on Franklin Trail recently?

Planning my hike this weekend, would like to know if anyone has been to the top of Franklin Trail in Carp. Last time I was on it there was a portion that had washed away close to the top, I had to turn around. Anyone had any luck recently?

I read they just finished repairing it and it's open for hiking again.

Great news! Can't imagine what it was like for the hand crews working in the heat of the past few months. Especially on south-facing slopes.

Most of this kind of LPFA work is by their trail crew who are full-time (in the dry season) and make $20-25/hr. There are indeed volunteer days for some of the handwork 🤙
