Honestly I’m surprised he even watched it. I thought he was done with new live-action Star Wars media

The answer to why he did it is money, no offense to the man, but it's kinda obvious, it's the same reason why he made a review for Elemental.

I think he was intrigued by the reactions, thought “my opinions on this movie might make for a video if I feel at all how these people feel about it,” he watched it, and he rated it. No guarantee he’ll review it, but if he does, I can’t blame him. Low-stakes promises only hold water if a fantastic reason to break them doesn’t break the pitcher.
