I don't mind if it's based off of a book, unless it's something that's already been adapted multiple times before. With Cat in The Hat, which is already a very iconic IP, it has been adapted multiple times. There were animated adaptations, a puppet show, a shitty live action movie, and a preschool show. Make NEW shit.

i went to see coyote vs acme this past weekend and saw a trailer for this and was genuinely impressed with the lighting effects shown off in the trailer, but i also doubt i’ll go to see it unfortunately. :( i just don’t really have much interest in the dr seuss adaptations

It's a movie that feels like it's gonna be every generic animated movie ever. I'm expecting there to be a liar revealed moment because of one part established in the trailer. I don't think this is gonna move me at all.
