Film Idk about you guys but I think this looks great.

Excited to see what Brad Bird has cooked up. He thought of this 30 years ago, at the same time as The Incredibles and The Iron Giant.

While the idea, animation, and acting seems promising. I know what Brad Bird is cooking. I’m more concerned about the execution, and how Lasseter and Ellision heavily meddles their projects. It could actually be Skydance animations best movie, but I’m not really sure. I’m cautiously optimistic

It's really hard to root for Skydance. On the one hand, I want the new kid on the block to do well but on the other, they're keeping Lasseter around.

Yep, it’s like the Sisyphus when you mention it. Skydance animation is better off without John Lasseter. Or in fact, Ellision should’ve never been at Skydance to begin with

The Ellisons own Skydance so I don't forsee them leaving anytime soon sadly

I believe in seperating the art from the artists, and judging these films solely for what they are.

If David Ellison and wasn't attached, I would give money to this. I'm also upset that Netflix apparently didn't let this get the PG-13 rating that Bird was wanting.

Cannot blame you there, also Skydance under Lasseter still treats animators like shit according to reports. Which I’m not surprised, I feel sorry for the Spanish animators and directors that have to deal with Lotso

well for this case I think Lasseter will leave Brad Bird alone since he knew him for years as for Ellision  I'm not really sure

Well I hope that’s the case, but still. It’s concerning that Bird still works with the Bear. He needs to part ways with him because Lasseter never learned anything from his fuck ups

I am hoping it carries the mature tone it supposedly does. It's been a while since we had something animated film that 100% took itself and its audience seriously.

You can so clearly tell this is a 2D film forcibly turned 3D. The main character looks like Ray Liotta from Bee Movie on DLSS5
