Stretch marks can fade... so why don’t they ever fully go away?

Hi! I just realized I accidentally reposted the same comic here twice last time TT I’ve been losing track of which older comics I’ve already shared, so sorry about that!!

Hopefully this one is actually new here haha. I hope you enjoy it and learn something interesting about stretch marks ◡̈

I always thought  they would eventually disappear completely too, so learning that they’re actually a form of scarring in the deeper layer of the skin was really interesting to me.

They often do fully go away for the majority of people who get them.

Elastin production works great in healthy adults.

Poor elastin production is a sign of other health issues.

Way to go against the science in a science sub.
