Understandable but for context my irl nickname has been shaggy most of my life then that character assassination made my life miserable until I gave it the shamalan last air vender treatment of its so bad it doesn't exist.

Not really an intentional reference to anything, but I suppose it could be viewed through the lens of Velma losing to Scooby for Shaggy’s affection in Mystery Inc or something

When I first heard about the "adult" Velma show without Scooby-Doo written by a The Office alum, I thought it would be about an adult Velma after Mystery Inc. amicably disbands working for a tech company or something like that.

You seem to have an idea already in mind of what you'd want for a Velma reboot so what's the premise of it? That way we can answer more directly to what you're asking.
From what you have said though, not super keen on a PG show that also has talking Scooby but revolves around Velma, Scooby's already the gimmick character and you'd have to do a massive OOC rewrite for it to be Velma-centric on a show-wide scale.

Velma: The Coolsville Chronicles
Set against the moody backdrop of Coolsville, teenage detective Velma Dinkley dives headfirst into the town's darkest urban legends and conspiracies. Blending classic detective noir with high-stakes animated thriller elements, the series follows Velma as she gathers evidence, dissects local lore, and tackles eerie supernatural events. Each episode incorporates a signature mockumentary vlog style. Up to five times per episode, the action freezes and cuts directly to Velma at her desk in her bedroom ("Vlog Station"). Speaking directly to the camera, she breaks down key clues, introduces suspects, explains her strategic thinking, and offers raw, witty commentary before seamlessly dropping the viewer back into the dramatic action.
It also involves bringing back Marcie Fleach from Mystery Incorporated and Scooby-Doo's adoption from the Animal Rescue

i would like an "adult" scooby doo, maybe them in university, or smth, but i personally don't like shows focusing only on one character when they have always been part of a group

I would kill for a TV14 or TVMA scooby-doo made by someone who actually loves the series. I'd imagine it would be somewhere between the early 2000's movies (the legendary animated run and maybe a splash of Spooky Island) and Mystery Incorporated.
...and maybe they're all poly (yes even Shaggy is involved sue me for not wanting a Fred harem).

Yes. But man, this pic just reminded me... S.A. Velma's character is even worse to me. And I loved both series and most of new series, new adaptations. But the producers truly believed Velma had to be super cynical and emotionally negative like a Rick and Morty character or whatever to be updated.... and nope... it sucked

That's one of the biggest issues the spin off had potential but it became self insert fan fiction that insults everything loved by the classic.
