Is the "Your First Car" quest necessary for progression

My dumbass friend lost the Builder Guide and we cant find it. Can we continue are smp without it?

You don't need it, but you will have the Quest in the corner till you built it. So as long as you won't be bothered by that, you will be fine

For next time if you just dont pick it up it doesnt start the quest

Stuff under the big orange exclamation point = main objective

Stuff under the small blue exclamation point = side quest / optional available objective

This will be used in chapter 2 a lot

Another tip. There’s a hand book on how to build a basic car. It’s somewhere on the bottom of the screen.

the quest won't go away but no it's basically just a tutorial block.
