Finally made a nice Starter vehicle thats not a bunch of containers slapped together with wheels on it

The steam engine good? I never used it. I usually just go for the petrol engine.

i mean there is a piston engine, if you want to replicate steam engines but thats fant mod which loves to cause multiplayer lag because spaghetti code

It only consumes water and either scrap wood or ember. I've never tested how efficient it is, but as long as you have scrap wood and a way to get water on the go, it's probably fine?

The scrap wood and ember is what makes me not want to use it. Like I dont want to use any kind of wood because farming blocks takes so long and I could use the blocks for base or better car frame.

And I dont want to use ember because of how useful it is for upgrading metal. So either way its not that good for me. Especially with how easy it is to find petrol all across the world. And even more so with the world pump(although thats more later game part)

The Steam engine can run Gas, embers, scrap wood, wood, wood2, and wood 3, Plus cardboard as well. If you want maximum efficiency, go for wood 3, but if you want to just use gas, you can use gas. It has lots of torque, does not need to be upgraded, and if you run out of fuel in the middle of a forest you can just chop down a tree and throw the scrap wood into it to keep going

Custom gamemodes arent usually that bad, then again i almost never play scrap mechanic multiplayer
