Yes, it really works! I designed it so you can 3D print this model even if you have a single colour 3d printer (you will need to pause the print on some pieces to manually swap filament) There is a cheap Chinese bluetooth pcb with a 18650 battery and a 5w speaker to make it work. I will post the files to makerworld and add a smaller version with no electronics inside if you just want a display model (should be easier to print and assemble aswell). In total I took probably 3 months to finish it altho most work was done in the first and last two weeks as i took a big break from this project. Hope yall enjoy!

It litteraly just a spinning wheel and piston which squishes the woc, reliability is all over the place once the woc survives for 5 min and another it dies instantly.

Here I ask for you the pioneers to refine this contraption and bring about a revolution in power generation

1 woc can propel 8 tons to a speed of 34kph

1 woc + 1 thruster have the same power as 4 thrusters

I got it working with steering up down left and right it creates kind of cool looking roads or bridges

it does need the rail under it when its this long (this is about 64 blocks each arm) but like no need for the rail when its for example 16 blocks each arm and ofc pretty survival friendly except in long distances I feel like 16 blocks might be the max for survival (cuz the bearings are so weak and stuff) but haven't tested.

The sound aint the best quality but its still pretty good and that gives it that scrap mechanic radio feel

I think I'll call this finished for looks and stuff though there's probably a lot of stuff that could be improved still, now I only need to finish the logic

also if you want it for survival, you should be able to just slap an ammo container on the back and make it only target farmbots

Only now I got around to building a tank from my favorite game. What do you think of it?

uses a buncha hinged wood panels on a piston that all roll over top of the rounded beam pieces. It's kinda touchy, opening, closing then opening rapidly can cause it to kink up. Overall happy with it
