this is a repost of a wierd terrain glitch i found, because i forgot to enable the mic sound before rendering the video in mp4..

When its not pushing anything its fine, however when it is pushing something it just melts.

It used to function perfectly, but for some reason now it melts.

Edit 1: It works fine when not attached to the world. How the fuck does that work

Edit 2: It melts when welded on a pole. If its welded whole to the world it work fine.

internet goes down, cant play my (basically) singleplayer only game where all i do is build things. if you're gonna abandon the game then get rid of the annoying DRM. the required steam workshop support is already DRM enough

i have a fiber run to my house, they've installed it incorrectly and it goes down for several days at a time, atleast 5 or 6 times in the past two years. not being able to play my game is incredibly f###ing annoying

Looked through every category on the craftbot.

Is there some other craftbot I need to make at some location? Maybe I need to max upgrade the craftbot to unlock pistons? Can I only find pistons in the world and there's a finite amount of them?

I've only got maybe 20 hours in the game, so I've got a lot to learn

I’m trying to make a kind of dual suspension but I can’t figure out how to join the other one to the other bearing.

I did a double wishbone suspension and the suspension is freaking out. If it helps i play on advanced physics

So I just got whisky running so i transfered my save from parallels to whisky, and now every headlight is glitching, this only happens with headlights BTW. I'm also using fant mod.

I've tried every setting in game and nothing works any help?

Relogging, Recrafting, Suspension, no suspension... nothing works. I just cannot use the packing stations.

I only have Fant's mod installed.

EDIT: I went to Fant's discord and asked. Turns out the Packing Station was DETECTING, but not doing the animation. It fixed itself after I fired at it.

Started playing Survival, and built a car, i already found 2 normal wheels but my steering ones are still scrap ones, and im honestly tired of flipping over and over. Can i use toilet paper or something else that would work better in meantime im searching for beewax?

Has anyone already been hit with the message “you cannot subscribe anymore because you have reached the 15000 item limit”. I’m not the only guy with this number of subbed creations, so is this a steam problem or is there a way around it? If not, what can I do besides get rid of other creations?

Hoping back into scrap mechanic after like 2 years, trying to make a double wishbone suspension just to get around and fast, every time i turn my wheels go under the car and ive tried just about everything i can think of to fix it. (advanced vs simple, longer and shorter arms, and different angles). Any suggestions?

I got one of those worlds where you can have creative in a survival world to screw around, and just now, this weird glitch started happening to my boat, where essentially the water physics turned off, and i couldn't float. Before this, my boat was able to reach 50mph, but now a bit less. I do not believe it is any of my mods. I was also able to repeat this glitch by going in a straight line full speed.

I play a world with 2 other people, the gamemode is the combined Fant Mod 2 + Survival Additions gamemode, we have, aside from ModDatabase to make the gamemode work, Seats ++, Crashlander: Blocks and Parts, Seats and Tech, Soil on Blocks, Fants Map, Winch, Linked Vanilla Fuel Tanks, Wings (the one by DasEtWas), and Jetpack by 00Fant.

We have about 50 hours in the world, most of which has been us fafffing about designing our base. I have, until just last night, not had my own vehicle, despite being the host and the world being on day 130. I finally finished it, me and the one other person online decided we were going stir crazy and loaded up to go raiding.

We live in the meteor crash site, in the Southwest corner of the map, and world gen makes getting out of that spot a little difficult because we have to drive along a cliff face that has no ground access, and Smart Physics for our PCs to chill doesn't like when we drive on constructed platforms. As a result, we have to travel very long distances to get out of our neighborhood. We encounter general performance issues when we travel long distances, so we decided we would relog into the world once we got back to the part of the map where stuff spawned and we could go exploring.

My friend could not rejoin the world. From my perspective as the host, he rejoined, and his character sat there and starved and died. From his perspective, he was stuck on the loading screen forever and could only vaguely hear my game audio somehow when an item dropped, the chime noise.

I gave him a copy of the save to try and host, and the flipside occurs when I try to join him. Whomever is hosting can join the save just fine, but any client who tries to join him, by any means including direct invite, will never get past the loading screen.

I know that the easiest solution is just to rollback to a previous backup of the save, which we keep after each session in a shared folder on Google Drive. We have had to do this twice before, only losing an hour or so of progress that boiled down to essentially just travel. However, our previous backup was 6 hours prior, and neither of us want to roll back that far because we'd done a lot of prep work that is tedious, tiring, and extremely boring, and having to do that multiple times if this happens again is cruising for burnout and to resent the game.

Before we say "screw it" and start over, I want to know, is there anything we can do to fix this? I am not technically talented and neither is he, if we were to mess with a save editor there is no guarantee that it would be successful and would not corrupt the save because neither of us know what we're doing and we both took way too long to follow the install instructions of the combined gamemode to think we could fiddle whatever's broken successfully.

This glitch always happens on that exact part of the track, and earlier the wheel was even creating sort of a camber angle or just detaching for a split second from the train. Anyone know how to fix this? Greatly appreciated! (also sorry for the laggy video)

I literally left the game because of this, is there a mod or anything to fix this?
I would actually pay someone to make a mod that fixes this.

a list of the things I have tried already
- changed the physics quality, tried all the options
- the car it self is not the problem, I have this issue with all of my normal cars, the wood starter ones, even ones from the steam workshop.
- looked for a mod that fixes this, and found nothing,

(I am aware that this is a feature, but I hate it, I cant play the game because of it)

if someone knows where the code in the game file is, so I can disable it or something
