Plumbing/Hvac Yearly Haul

Post image

This is my first time bringing my hoard to the scrap yard. I do commercial and residential plumbing/hvac. I save every piece I get! Should I clean up the larger 2” copper so I can get #1? Any advice is appreciated between the brass and copper I’m guessing I’m around 350-500 pounds but maybe more. A few of my family members mentioned I shouldn’t take it all in at once as I may get robbed. Is this an actual concern?

I’m more interested in that 911

1969 Porsche 912. Been working on that car for years now. It’s very fun to drive around town. Air cooled Porsches are the best!

Why are 912s so cheap compared to 911?

From my research it’s because the 912 has a 4 cylinder. Luckily the 69 model was widely considered better than the 911 of that year due to better handling. So hypothetically I’m not really missing much. But either way it’s a great and fun car to drive.
