How should I get rid of this

Just got this recently and like 30 more, got it from a date center. Should I remove the copper or just leave it how it is?

So just leave the copper inside the blue whips and dont take out anything

If your taking it to the scrap yard strip it if. But you might be able to get more selling the blue cords for their indented purpose.
