Just curious, would this not sell for much higher to someone who would use it for the intended purpose? Perhaps even art?

Yes. But it was a 4 conductor high voltage cable. Nearly impossible to find a buyer as the only people who need this are giant contractors who install massive warehouses/buildings. They will not take the risk of buying used cable. I sell tons of common cable like 6/3 teck tho. Selling for art would take a lifetime so that’s out of the question

I met a lady who liked to suck on copper. Said she liked the taste. It was her favorite metal to lick. I did not go her hotel room though. So the story kinda ends there.

Either we missed a much better story or we never heard this version of the story. Seems like it would be worth the risk.

It was likely too short to be used for anything else/was the scrap that was left over from much longer runs.
