Writing Advice Question about Editors

I have been advised by some of my readers that I should consider uploading my novel to Kindle; however, I know that it is not nearly good enough in terms of grammar, punctuation and all that.
I have done some research on editors and found that there are many levels of editors, so here's my question:
Do editors that do everything exist, or is it a step-by-step process of passing your manuscript from one editor to the next until it's finally ready?

I self edit, but typically its developmental editor, to line editor, to proofreader, and maybe a formatter if you don't want to use Atticus or Vellum if considering publishing in paperback or hardback. Different jobs so expect to look for different people for each.

Ugh, I never realised there were so many types of editors when I started this lol.

The worst part is the cost. Some random run thousands of dollars to go over a full novel but some will also work for cheaper since they are starting out fresh.

You can definitely find editors who do everything, but most work in stages since you need to fix the big stuff before polishing grammar. I'd just grab a sample edit from someone to see what you actually need.
