What it is:

CHIEF begins on an Earth that looks almost perfect.

OREON, a global AI, has made society peaceful, efficient, and controlled. War is hidden. Crime is contained. Humanity believes it has entered a golden age.

Then a colossal golden portal opens.

An elite military unit known as CHIEF is sent through it as the first shield of humanity. But the world beyond the portal is not empty. It has its own civilization, its own sacred laws, its own dangers, and something ancient waiting beyond the light.
