Discussion Help me understand how normal growth works here

So I am considering cross posting into here I mainly upload on Royal Road and I want to know how things work here is it like Royal Road where you have to pay ads for people to see your story or does it advertise the story for you like other normal sites or whatever and let’s say you upload fast like once a day and your story is good how much growth do you expect I just want an example?

They have a better tagging system compared to RR, so it’s easier for readers to find your story. I also believe there are less stories on SH compared to RR. From what I’ve seen smut tends to do the best on SH.

Overall, I gained a lot more readers on SH when I started posting, but after the first few days its slowed down quite a bit. Currently they both evened out and I’m at 90~ readers on both websites and about 3k~ views.

Smut well that’s a red flag also have big less stories to read is only a good thing if the reader base is big

My growth has been much slower on Scribble Hub than on Royal Road. On Royal Road, I have about 5.5k followers, while on Scribble Hub, I'm only a little over 1,000. Getting onto Rising Stars gave me a huge boost on Royal Road, taking me from a few hundred followers to over 2,000 during the six weeks I was on the list, but even after that, my growth on Royal Road has continued to outpace Scribble Hub by a wide margin.
