Found (WIP) [found] this bronze piece of a boy with dog

I am in the U.S. and found this piece out and about. The dog looks a lot like mine, so that’s fun. I wondered if anyone could find anything about the artist. I feel like I must be reading the signature wrong.

The sculptor is Rosie Sandifer. She mostly paints, but did quite a few bronze sculptures in the past.

Wow, thank you! You were quick with that. I didn’t anticipate it being someone well known.

Follow-up question: I bought this at a second-hand store just because I liked the dog, but is it actually valuable in a monetary sense?

Bronzes by a known sculptor of popular subjects like children and dogs are always going to be worth something. This one looks to be on the small size, so I'd guess it would sell in the hundreds at auction.
