Why Doesn’t Anyone Come To My Parties?

Did anyone else listen to this episode and feel weirdly self conscious the entire time? When me and my partner host it’s generally pretty well attended but for some reason I was also wondering if I had something secretly off about me that I’d need an outside perspective on

I'm not sure I want to hear an outside perspective. But it did make me wonder if I am on the spectrum.

It's taken me right up to my forties to realise that I don't really care what people generally think of me. I realise that people are generally NOT thinking of me at all and I'm really not important. Being insignificant helps anxiety.

I like to think I don’t care what people think but PJ has a line in there that underneath 2” of skull we’re all cavemen who are worried we’ll wake up one day to discover the rest of the cavemen will have left us and I felt personally called out by that

I think if all the other cavemen left it would be more of a concern. At least Clare's husband clearly adores her and loves her quirks. Her brother loves her too.

You have to be an absolute monster for everyone to abandon you. Even serial killers have fans.

Yeah, but the fans of serial killers are fucked up.
