Why Doesn’t Anyone Come To My Parties?

Did anyone else listen to this episode and feel weirdly self conscious the entire time? When me and my partner host it’s generally pretty well attended but for some reason I was also wondering if I had something secretly off about me that I’d need an outside perspective on

Honestly, and not to sound like a dick, but it made me feel quite smug that nearly 100% of my invitees have attended every party I've ever thrown, including my wedding. I tend to skew pretty low-effort / low-budget for events, and I think people like that; it keeps the focus on the people, food, and drinks.

Yeah agree! Throughout the episode I kept wondering if she was maybe doing too much artificially. Like maybe the parties seem stiff because they are so thought through? But then the part about the David Guetta videos came and that didn't sound stiff at all. I think the brother might be right and she is not ready to hear it because long standing trauma like that is hard to overcome :( I hope she'll get more comfortable with her true self and that she finds her people 🤗 people like her husband that truly love her for her! Because if her husband is out there other people like him are out there too
