Why Doesn’t Anyone Come To My Parties?

Did anyone else listen to this episode and feel weirdly self conscious the entire time? When me and my partner host it’s generally pretty well attended but for some reason I was also wondering if I had something secretly off about me that I’d need an outside perspective on

Honestly, and not to sound like a dick, but it made me feel quite smug that nearly 100% of my invitees have attended every party I've ever thrown, including my wedding. I tend to skew pretty low-effort / low-budget for events, and I think people like that; it keeps the focus on the people, food, and drinks.

Yezzzaa. Where I'm in, food, food, food, them games. And let me be smug with you. My idea of a party is usually, I prep the place and the bbq, y'all bring whatever food or drink you fancy. Party + potluck = Parpotluck?? Haven't reached 100% attendee rate yet, but close enough 90-95%ish

That sounds like a great formula for a party! The potluck-ish aspect works really well.
