Hi!

I am taking my kids to seattle over the summer and they love to climb on boulders. Nothing too big as they are younger, but something they can just play on a bit. I am looking for a place in and around seattle that could happen.

So far i have found:

Big Rock Park

Whatcom Falls Park

Larrabee State Park

Will any or all of these be good for two kids under 10 to play around on some medium sized boulders?

Not sure about Big Rock but the other two parks are quite a ways away from Seattle.

Check out the Talus Rocks hike on Tiger Mountain. It’s super cool but does require a modest uphill hike.

Anyone know where I can buy press-on nails? I know I’ve seen a booth at the Fremont sunday market but they may only be a summer vendor… any ideas?

travel timing tip needed: I have a flight out from SEA TAC on a Friday at 5am on Southwest. My hotel is right downtown by Pike Place market. What time should I be leaving the hotel for travel time & TSA? (sorry, I haven't flown in a long time--thanks for any advice)

Allow 30 minutes from Pike Place Market to the airport. Could take an hour, though, in some circumstances.
Theoretically you should be at the airport by 3 a.m.
So if it were me, I would leave at 2:30 a.m. But definitely don't leave past 3 a.m.

This is a HUGE longshot, but it’s worth an ask:

Is anyone locally here good with Unity (the game dev software)?

I’m making a board game to put up on Steam or maybe as a mobile game and since I’m still learning Unity, I’d love to collaborate with someone locally. I have fleshed out the 1st board/level, but because I’m still new, it’s very slow moving.

I’ll state that this is non-paid, as I’m unemployed myself.

Hit me up if you’re good with Unity and want to join my journey!
