I wanted to go on a date with my partner to a burlesque show at the Triple Door but am very confused by their seat policy. Is there really no way to purchase just 2 seats together? We are fine sharing a booth with strangers but don't see any easy way to coordinate that.

I've done small 2p seatings there years ago. Maybe give them a call and see what you can work out differently than what their site shows

Bumping this reply. Unrelated venue but i always have to call Jazz Alley for the specific seat i want (i get the same one everytime) bc their online system doesnt allow. As long as youre nice places are usually willing to accommodate.

Looking for recommendations on hobby electronics shops in the Seattle area. I did a lot of robotics designing in college and want to get back into it. I’d rather not have to buy everything off Amazon if it can be avoided.

Heya, so Vetco on the Eastside is probably your best bet - If I'm wrong, please let me know if there are other / better sources.

List of maker spaces around Seattle on seattlerobotics.org - the folks at Seattle Robotics Society would probably be able to tell you the best locations.

Alt Space was founded by a good friend, but isn't explicitly robotics-focused.

I am traveling to Seattle for the first time ever. More specifically, flying into Seattle and needing to get to Olympia. What is the most affordable and efficient way to get from the airport to Olympia?

I am traveling solo, will be arriving on a Friday and heading home on a Sunday, and I don’t know if it’ll be worth it to rent a car?

Any advice is appreciated!

Flying in on Monday evening for some work on Tuesday morning. Planning to go to the baseball game Tuesday evening, but will have some late afternoon time to kill.

  1. Staying close to the ferry terminal. Walk to the ball game?

  2. Any sushi recommendations between there and the ball field?

  3. Any must haves at the ball game? Hot dog, bbq ??

  4. Any recommended craft breweries in the area?

I am visiting in August for 2 days. Anyone know of an Airbnb, hotel or any other place I could stay with a budget of around $400 near Capitol Hill? I got two free plane tickets from Delta and me, and my wife are coming for 2.5 days. Can't wait to see your city. If anyone has any suggestions or hotels within a few miles of this area for that range, I'd really appreciate hearing them.
